NWPC Competitors Camp 2024 Following the success of the first Competitors Camp this year we excited to announce our competitors’ camp 2024. To be held at Rectory Farm Duntisbourne Abbots, Cirencester GL7 7JW on 28th and 29th May 2024. Camp Organisers: Lou Brander 07702 519185 treasurer.northwarwickshire@pcuk.org and Catherine Hicks This camp is aimed at any member who competed at 80cm/Grassroots level and above in Area competitions in 2023 in either Show Jumping or Eventing or who are aiming to compete at these levels in 2024. At this stage we aren’t offering a dressage only option. If you are at all unsure as to whether this camp is suitable for you, please contact us to discuss. Camp cost of £220, payable in full or 4 instalments of £40 on 1st January, £60 1st February, March and April includes:
· 2 Ridden sessions per day – dressage test riding, show jumping, cross country and polework available.
· Non ridden sessions such as competition preparation, fitness, etc
· Mentoring
· Team building
· Stable and bedding
· Camping (hook up available at extra cost)
· All meals
Ridden sessions will be either individual, in pairs or groups of up to 4.
When booking in please indicate which sport specific option you wish to follow:
· Show jumping – to include course jumping, flatwork and polework
· Eventing – to include all 3 phases
Once you have booked in you will be sent full details of what you need to bring etc and a link to an online form to provide us with all the details we need. Unlike our usual Summer camps all children under 18 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The adult will be expected to remain on site throughout camp and be responsible for their child at all times. Please get in touch if this is potentially an issue for you. This is also a great opportunity for parents to socialise.
Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
- Run under the Current years Pony Club Rule Book. Entry is taken as acceptance of these rules.
