Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full including any booking fees paid.

Ideal is you want to practice before Areas/ Regionals, are a new partnerships, or have never competed before !

Dressage

  • Choose which test you would like to do (Walk and Trot lead rein to Intermediate tests (check the name of the test carefully on the link there are ones that are similar !)
  • Get a ‘time’ like a real competition
  • Be warmed-up by coach Laura Hill
  • Do your test at your allotted time with the (very lovely) BD judge Jayne Almond
  • Learn how to check scores for dressage (parents too !)
  • Have small group sessions watching videos and reading through to understand the test sheets with Laura *test can be called and please can you help with videoing 🙂

Showjumping

  • Choose the height you would like to jump (poles-1m)
  • Get a ‘time’ like a real competition
  • Be warmed-up and course walk with coach Amy Burbage
  • Jump your round at your allotted time (with parent videoing)
  • Have small group sessions watching videos
Additional Details

We have 3 sessions, building on what we did last year. Each session includes choices of ridden session(s) with a competition focus and unmounted sessions all focused to get you ready for a successful season ahead whatever your goals. Coaching team – Laura Hill (dressage), Amy Burbage (SJ) and Kate Wallett (unmounted).

Session 1 – Sat 12th April:Choice of SJ & unmounted, dressage and unmounted or dressage, SJ and unmounted

  • Unmounted session focused on planning your year and knowing where to find competitions

Session 2 – Mon 26th May:Choice of SJ & unmounted, dressage and unmounted or dressage, SJ and unmounted

  • Unmounted session focused getting you and your horse ready for competition

Session 3 – Sun 15th June, practice competition:Choice of SJ, dressage or both

  • Warm up like a competition in a different arena
  • SJ Course walking with a coach, warm up and ride a course like a competition, choosing your height
  • Complete a dressage test in front of a (very lovely) dressage judge
  • Analyse your test/ round with a Laura/ Amy

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
