What to wear

  • Beige or plain dark jods (beige, navy, brown, black, dark grey)
  • For XC: Compulsory long sleeves either long sleeved shirt/EHNPC skin/EHNPC sweatshirt plus body protector – Body protector rules 2025: From 1st January 2024 only body protectors that meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (Black and Blue Label) are to be used.
  • Please ensure your hats are tagged with a Pink PC hat tag – if not please let a committee member know. For Cross Country over 80 cm, a skull cap must be worn, fixed peaks are not allowed.
  • Hat silks – plain black, navy, no pom poms!
  • Long hair must be tied back in a hairnet
  • Short jodhpur boots, short jodphur boots and chaps or long riding boots in black or brown
  • No jewellery (watch acceptable)
  • Gloves, if worn, brown, black or navy
  • No hooded clothing
  • Ponies should clean and well turned out, in plain tack with dark coloured, plain numnahs, black, brown or navy. If boots are bandages are worn they should be in plain dark colours.
  • Ponies do not need to be plaited apart from at the 4 all day Summer Rallies at Berwick Farm.
  • Tack must be well fitted and clean. Remember to check your stirrup irons, there should be 14mm clearance either side of your boots which is about a thumb width.

Additional Details

This is a private farm we are very fortunate to use – All droppings in parking area or on the way to the arena must be picked up. No haynets outside of trailers. All litter must be cleared up

Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
