Recommended for those aiming at Area Teams. Small groups will train for aprox 1 hour on the XC course, a fantastic opertunity to practic for Area and Regional eventing. The course will have a selection of jumps from 70cm. You must be a current EHNPC member and capable of jumping 70cm.
Please dress clean, neat, tidy and safe. For Cross Country: Compulsory long sleeves, either long sleeved shirt/ EHNPC base layer or EHNPC sweatshirt. Beige or plain dark jods (beige, navy, brown, black or dark grey) You must wear a current 2018 body protector, a non fixed peak tagged with a pink PC hat tag, hat and hairnet. Hat silks- plain black, navy, no pom poms! Long hair must be tied back and in a hairnet Short jodphur boots, short jodphur boots and chaps or long riding boots in black or brown No jewellery (watch is acceptable) Gloves, if worn, brown black or navy No hooded clothing Ponies/Horses must be clean and well turned out, in plain tack with dark coloured, plain numnahs, black, brown or navy. If boots are worn they should be plain dark colours. Tack must be well fitted and clean. Remember to check your stirrup irons, they should be the correct size for the rider’s boot and have 14mm clearance either side of your boots (approx thumb width) Humane girths and not permitted.
