Tetrathlon swimming training suitable for all swimmers able to swim 50m without a flotation device whether they currently compete at triathlon or not.
The sessions will be fun sessions and last for up to an hour. We will concentrate on basic swim skills, starts and turns.
There will be an opportunity for swimmers to progress towards the competitive start award needed for Tetrathlon and triathlon diving from the blocks.
The sessions will be tailored to the swimmers attending by a qualified coach.
If there is sufficient uptake we can consider hiring further pool space to accommodate those just starting to swim.
Sessions will take place on the third Monday of every month starting on 21st October at Appleby Leisure Centre 6 – 7 pm.
Swimmers need to bring hat and goggles and any floats, pull bouys etc that they normally use but we will have additional equipment if needed.
The cost is £8 per child per session and will be reviewed after the first session if necessary.
Please book early so we can plan appropriate sessions. Late booking will be possible at additional cost and subject to pool space.
