1 hour from 2pm on the ACE Cross Country tiny tots course. Introduction to eventing for our beginners in roped arena followed by a splash in the water – for examples of fences see https://www.acecrosscountry.co.uk/facilities.
1.5 hours from 3pm. Pre-Grassroots. Progressive session for those confidently riding independently in open spaces. Starting ACE Cross Country tiny tots course. Progressing to main course jumping 50cm+. & water splash – for examples of fences see https://www.acecrosscountry.co.uk/facilities.
1.5 hours at 2pm and 3:30pm. Grassroots or Novice. Groups to be allocated on experience. and entries. Session for those established at riding cross country confidently in open spaces from 60cm minimum 90cm maximum – for examples of fences see https://www.acecrosscountry.co.uk/facilities.

Full refund up until withdrawal date, after withdrawal date refund only if replaced from the wait list.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full including any booking fees paid.

Body protectors and hats meeting current requirements are mandatory. Hats must have a current Pony Club hat tag and no fixed peak. Hairnets must be worn for those with long hair. Branch Pony Club tops with long sleeves. No hoods that can’t be rolled away. Riding tights don’t offer enough protection for cross country.
The 2025 BSPC Training to Event Series is open to all members interested in, aiming for or established in eventing competition – there are 3 targeted groups jumping at –
- Pre-Grassroots 50/60cm+,
- Grassroots 70/80cm+ &
- Novice+ 80/90cm+
Aimed at developing your XC riding skills from judging time across the course to riding a wide range of XC fences and tricky combinations.
Please enter the group well within your capability, we expect our groups to progress well with the potential to move groups as required and assessed by our coaches.
Please make the most of all the branch rallies for flatwork/dressage, polework, gymnastic and show jumping. This will develop your partnership with your horse/pony for the Dressage and Show Jumping elements of Eventing too.
