In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £0.40 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Lungeing test this test must be passed before taking the b+ or ah tests. It can be taken after the full b test or b test horse and pony care section has been passed. the test will be organised by your area representative. Make sure you contact them if you are interested in taking the lungeing test. objective to be able to work the horse correctly on the lunge. syllabus available on the website https://pcuk.org/members/training/test-syllabuses/
Age minimum age 15 years timing the test will take one hour per person. this includes putting on a lungeing cavesson and side reins appropriately.
Expectations you may lunge your own horse, or the lunge horse will be provided for you. the first part of the test involves tacking the horse up correctly for lungeing and the second part involves lungeing the horse. you are expected to check the fit of the tack and make sure the cavesson and side reins fit the horse. If necessary put on overreach and brushing boots. when you are lungeing the horse, you are working for exercise, so you are not expected to improve the way of going. you should work in walk and trot, use a suitable sized circle and show an appropriate warm up and cool down.
Feedback you will be given your feedback and result on the day of your test. use the feedback to structure your future training. lungeing is tested in the ah and a tests, so it’s important that you continue to improve your knowledge and technique to give yourself the best chance in these exams

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
