This camp is for the senior members of Pony Club, 15 years +, who are about to sit their C+ test or are training towards B, B+, AH and A Tests.
~The cost of camp includes stable, hay and straw, all ridden, non ridden and demo sessions, all meals and refreshments for riders plus 1 adult, lorry/trailer/tent park up for rider plus 1 adult, there is an extra cost for additional family members.
~Groups will be small and will have 2 ridden sessions, 1 stable management session, 1 talk/demo, 1 group activity/talk each day.
~All members will be working on their stable management, flatwork, jumping and xc.
~Horses will be stabled and bedded on straw. Please indicate if you are bringing your own shavings or you can buy them on your booking.
~Please bring your own haynets, large water buckets, horse feeds, hay/haylage if you don’t want hay provided, your required tack, grooming kits, rugs and bandages etc.
~All hats must be current safety standards and tagged, we can tag if necessary, and current body protectors must be worn on the xc.
~Riders will be expected to be neatly turned out each day with PC jumpers, long sleeved shirts, dark coloured waterproof jackets, no hoods, beige, neutral or dark coloured jods, clean riding boots, hair securely tied up preferably in a hairnet. No jewellery or acrylic nails.
~Meals will be provided for breakfast, lunch and supper on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. There will be teas and coffees, juices and home baking available throughout the day.
~ Please bring any required medications.
~ Please email any Reasonable Adjustment forms to area1@pcuk.org, in the strictest confidence, no later than 2 weeks before camp.
Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
