WYLYE VALLEY PONY CLUB 2024 CROSS COUNTRY COURSE DISCLAIMER

ANY INDIVIDUAL USING THE WYLYE VALLEY PONY CLUB (WVCC) CROSS-COUNTRY COURSE FACILITES DO SO AT THEIR RISK.

Horse riding is a dangerous sport and you participate at your own risk. Due care has been taken to maintain WVCC in a safe condition, but riders must observe the following rules and any additional instructions given.

– The facilities must be used in a sensible manner compatible with the level of experience of the rider and horse/pony.

– The rider is to have relevant and in date insurance for themselves and their horse/pony.

– Riders under the age of 18 must have parental consent and accompanied by a responsible adult.

– Current standard riding hats, full length riding boots or jodhpur boots and 2018 reg back protectors are compulsory.

– Do not muck out lorries/trailers in the lorry park, take all rubbish and droppings away.

– All dogs must be on a lead at all times.

DISCLAIMER AND CONDITIONS OF USE

We have taken precautions to ensure the safety or horse and rider. To be effective, you must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring. Wylye Valley Pony Club reserves the right to remove you from the facilities in the event of dangerous riding, abuse of the horse or failure to act with common courtesy. The WVPC does not accept any liability for any loss damage, accident, injury or illness to horse, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.

Only Flagged Jumps are to be jumped if flagged red and white must be jumped in correct direction only.

This Site has a public foot path so people on foot have right of way.

WAVIER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK FOR USING WV/SH FACILITIES DURING 2024

I hereby fully waive and release The Wylye Valley Pony Club and it’s volunteers or staff of any claims for personal injury, property damage, or death that may result in my participation in schooling or training at the WVCC course. I hereby voluntarily, at my own risk, sign this wavier and Assumption of Risk in sole consideration of being permitted to use the WVCC facilities. I hereby agree to abide by all rules and instructions imposed by the WVCC volunteers and staff. By signing this Wavier and Assumption of risk I fully assume dangers and risks, and agree to use my best judgement while engaging in these activities. I further agree to indemnity and hold harmless the WVCC, its employees and volunteers from and against any and all liability incurred as a result of or in any manner related to my participation in activities.

I hereby certify that I am of legal age and competent to execute the Wavier and Assumption of risk.
