Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Competition Format
Approximate start times Bean Bags/Shoot 12.30pm. Run 2.00pm. Swim 4.00pm ROSETTES: Individual Rosettes 1st to 8th in each class. Best rosette to Western Member in each class. Best phase rosette in all classes. Well done rosettes for all those not placed in Beanies
TEAM COMPETITION: Rosettes to 10th place. Mixed Teams of 4,(3 scores to count) from Class 1 – 8. Class 9 teams only from Class 9. All team members must be from the same Pony Club.
Times will be emailed to team trainers and posted on the Western PC website and Pony Club Results on 143February, 2025.
The competition will be run under Pony Club Tetrathlon rules 2025
• Shooting – It is a condition of entry that all competitors can handle a gun correctly and that they and their loaders have had adequate training in safety on the firing range. Pistols must always remain boxed. They may only be unboxed at the firing point on the instruction of the range steward. Pistols must be flagged.
• Running (on track)– Classes 1 – 9 Competitors will be running in heats.
• Swimming – No muddy shoes to be worn in the Leisure Centre. Buoyance aids will be allowed in Class 1 only. There is only one outside lane so PLEASE INDICATE IF THE COMPETITOR IS IN GENUINE NEED OF AN OUTSIDE LANE.
• The judge’s decision will be final.
Terms and Conditions
“Photographic Rights – by entering this competition, competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons taking part this event to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club.” Absolutely no photographs or videos to be taken in the swimming pool.
Health & Safety –
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Legal Liability –Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
