About this Event

Join us at our Pony Club field at Holt for a One Day Event. PC Members and Non Members welcome. All ages and abilities – it is a perfect introduction into eventing for those just starting out as well as the more experienced rider.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 19/09/2024


Refund minus an admin fee of £5.00 up until Withdrawal date. After the Withdrawal date only refund if replaced from the wait list.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Rules
  • GENERAL RULESRun under Pony Club rules. Please make sure you have read the 2024 rule book.
  • Children must be supervised, at all times.
  • All dogs must be kept on leads, at all times.
  • All horses/ponies must be up to date with vaccinations. Spot checks will be carried out.
  • Any combination of horse and rider may not compete where the height is 30cm lower than that at which they have previously competed.
  • Number bibs to be worn with your pre-printed numbers clearly displayed.
  • The judge’s decision is final. Any objections must be made to the secretary in writing at the time of the incident or at least within 30 minutes of results being posted, by the DC of the club or appointed representative along with a deposit of £25 which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
  • Please take home all horse droppings from car park.
  • First Aid in attendance.
  • TACK AND TURNOUT ALL PHASESLong hair should be tied back or in a hair net
  • No hat cameras
  • Jackets should be worn for SJ and Dressage
  • Number bibs should be worn for all 3 phases (these need to be pre printed by the competitor)
  • Grass or balanced support reins are allowed up to 50cm. They must be fitted as per the rulebook and no fitted directly to the bit from the saddle.
  • Neckstraps are allowed in all phases
  • No humane girths
  • No stirrups that connect magnetically or interlocking boots and treads
  • It is the competitors responsibility to ensure tack is in good order and in accordance to the rules.
  • No split reins, Ernest Dillion reins, Market Harboroughs, Check Rein or Bridge Reins

DRESSAGE Gloves should be worn Bit guards should not be worn Any size whip may be carried No martingales – breastplates are OK No boots or bandages No blinkers or cheek pieces Any normal riding bit is allowed for this competition. CROSS COUNTRY No fixed peak helmets are allowed No hat cameras Body protectors must be worn Whips should be 45-70cm and padded Self tied stocks are recommended but not compulsory

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents & accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. The Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the Organiser & all Officials & Stewards. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance & must have their own third-party cover. The Pony Club & the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members & their insurance will not cover you.
