Vale of Clettwr are hosting the Area 18 Dressage qualifers at Llanllyr, Talsarn. Qualifying and Non Qualifying classes, by kind permission of Mr Mathew Gee and Family.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

All horses and ponies competing on the showground must have an up to date Flu vaccination as per the Pony Club ruling for Area competitions.
All passports will be checked upon arrival to the field entrance. Please make sure you have your passports ready upon arriving to the show entrance.
No late entries/ Telephone Entries
Tack & Turnout Teams: Teams must report to the Tack and Turnout steward as a team a minimum of 30 mins before the first team rider is to enter the arena
Tack & Turnout inspection to commence at 8.30am and is compulsory for all competitors. Please arrive at tack and turnout inspection at least 30 mins before your class and before you start warming up.
The walk and Trot tests are for those that are not yet ready to compete in qualifying classes. Lead rein only combinations permitted in class 9.
District Commissioner/ Centre Proprietors please ensure that all horses/ ponies are eligible to compete as per rule 4 Eligibility (page 7) of the Pony Club Dressage Rule book 2024
All competitors to wear 2 numbers – downloadable via Horse Events/ Pony Club results.
RULES:
1. The organisers reserve the right to cancel part or the whole show without prior warning and to change class formats.
2. The Judges decision is final. They may disqualify a competitor at any stage of the competition if in their opinion the horse is sick, lame, exhausted, or the misuse of the whip or for cruelty of any kind, including any breach of the rules or for unseemly behaviour including bad language.
3. The class restrictions shall apply as stated in the class schedule
4. Correct and safe dress must be worn at all times. Suitable footwear with heel and standard hard hats complying with current Pony Club standards with harness fastened at all times when mounted. Hats must be tagged in accordance with pony club ruling 2024.
5. Any objections must be made in writing to the District Commissioner or a VALE OF CLETTWR PONY CLUB committee member within 15 minutes of the incident accompanied by a £25.00 deposit which will be forfeited if the complaint is not upheld
6. For the purpose of this show no stallions are permitted
7. Ridden horses or ponies must be 4 years old or over
8. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. This is a health and safety provision for the protection of riders. All dog muck to be picked up and taken home with you.
9. The show will be run in accordance with Pony Club ruling 2024
10. No horse or pony may be left tied up and unattended
11. Please clear up all litter and do not muck out trailers or lorries on to the showground. Please take your rubbish home with you.
Owners/ riders enter at entirely their own risk. The Vale of Clettwr Pony Club, owners, or the showground and organisers accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to any person, animal or property. The organisers have taken every precaution to ensure the health and safety of those present. For the measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey instructions of organisers, officials and stewards at all times.
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant accepts any liability for accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
