Classes open to all current Pony Club Members Entries close Tuesday 1stth February 2024, or earlier if class full Late entries £5 extra per class, numbers permitting NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY Please note: A horse/pony is only permitted to take part in 2 SJ classes and the same combination only in consecutive classes Individual entries must be made before entering as a team
ENTRY FEES • Show Jumping Classes 1 to 8 £23.00 per class. First Aid is included in entry fees. • Dressage Classes 9 to 14 £18.00 per class. First Aid is included in entry fees. • Please note there is a non refundable online booking fee. • Closing date is Thursday 1st February 2024 and spaces are strictly limited. A waitlist will be held if classes/entries are closed before this date. Late entries received after this date will incur a late entry fee of £5 per class (numbers permitting). No entries will be accepted on the day.
PC TEAMS • Teams are allowed in Classes 1 to 7 and Branches can enter as many teams as they wish. • Teams for each class can be made up of 3 or 4 riders from the same Branch. One rider may ride 2 horses. Best 3 scores to count. • All Team entries should be emailed by the Team Manager/DC to kathryngrace73@hotmail.com by Friday 9th February 2023.
RESULTS AND AWARDS • Rosettes to 6th Place in all classes for individuals and 3rd place for Teams in classes 1 to 7 only. • An unmounted presentation will be held for each class as soon as the results are available. Please could riders present themselves in correct riding dress to receive their awards. • Results will be posted on Pony Club Results. If you would prefer your child not to be named please advise the Secretary in writing.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
- Riders must be current members of The Pony Club.
- All classes to be judged under current Pony Club Show Jumping and Dressage Rules in effect at the date of this competition. Copies of the latest rules are available on www.pcuk.org.
- The decision of the Judges and Steward is final.
- Save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers , or anyone for whom they are in law responsible , neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club not any agent, employee or representative of those bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident , loss, damage or injury or illness to horses, owners , riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories , or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their own negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For those measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
- Objections must be written and handed to the Show Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident, together with a deposit of £20. If the objection is sustained the £20 will be refunded.
- Correct Riding attire and hat, which must comply with current Pony Club rules (see www.pcuk.org) must be won at all times when mounted. All Hats must be tagged. It is strongly recommended that body protectors are worn. Please note hair nets are compulsory and no jewellery is allowed.
- Age is taken as of 1st January 2024. Class restrictions as at entry close date.
- Withdrawals received upto the entry closing date will be refunded less the booking fee. Withdrawals received after the closing date will not be refunded.
- If the event is cancelled for any reason (including but not limited to Government or Pony Club restrictions) entry fees will be refunded less the booking fee and an administration charge of up to £5.00.
- The use of foul language and miss-use of spurs or whips will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate elimination.
- No mucking out of horseboxes and trailers is permitted in the lorry park.
- Entry to this competition constitutes acceptance of the Rules and Conditions.

Toilets are available for use in the show centre.
The café team will provide a service on the day of competition and will be offering eat in and take away food.
