All proceeds from this event will go towards the hire of ponies and the purchase of specialist equipment for the riding sessions the Woodhurst Group RDA runs, on a weekly basis, at Northbrook Equestrian Centre for children from Spring Common Academy and Papworth Hall School.
The Event will have the following classes: Class 1- Intro B – this class is also open to all including lead-rein riders 12 years and under, and does not need to be ridden in a snaffle bit. Class 2- Prelim 7 Class 3- Prelim 13 Class 4- Novice 24 Class 5- Novice 28 Judge Tanya Lewis BD List 4 Judge.
There is ample parking at Northbrook Equestrian Centre. The warm up will be held outdoors; the tests will take place in the indoor arena. Light refreshments will be available.
All riders ride at their own risk and must have at least third-party liability insurance
A photographer will be at the event. Please indicate if you do not wish to have your photograph taken.
All classes will be run under BD rules with the exception of class 1- Intro B. This class is also open to lead-rein riders 12 years and under, and does not need to be ridden in a snaffle bit.
1) The event will judged under British Dressage (BD) rules.
2) The decision of the Judges, Secretary and Stewards is final.
3) All horses and ponies to be 4yrs and over.
4) The landowner, organiser or officials shall not be held responsible for anything that may happen to competitors, spectators and their property as a result of this event.
5) Entry fees will not be refunded.
6) Correct dress should be worn by all competitors in line with the rules for dressage events.
7) All hats must be to one of the following standards: 2011 with BSI Kitemark; VG1 with BSI Kitemark; ASTM-F1163 2004a with SEI mark; AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards.
8) It is the responsibility of competitors to know and adhere to the rules with help of our stewards and officials.
9) Lunging is not permitted in any of the arenas at any time.
10) Please clear up any droppings, hay or bedding from the car park or lorry park, as well as any litter, and take these away with you.
11) Flu Vaccination Certificates. All competing horses and ponies must have an up-to-date full flu vaccination certificate.
12) Catering facilities (light refreshments) are available on site.
13) Competitors are asked not to attend if experiencing COVID 19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms.
14) Dogs are NOT permitted on the premises and children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and not left to roam at will.
15) Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site
16) Please park your vehicles considerately and be aware of access and other users of the yard and its facilities.
17) Please only tie your horse/pony to your vehicle whilst tacking up, as space may be tight.
18) For biosecurity measures, at no time must you enter the stable yard, stables or other restricted areas.
19) Please do not make contact with any of the other horses whilst at the premises.
20) Please ensure that you or other members of your group do not attend the premises if you or they or their horses are feeling unwell, off colour or running a temperature
