Is available for those traveling from a distance. Those who can, should bring their horses/ponies on XC day only. Stables cost £100.00 regardless of number of nights you are staying.
There will be two bales of shavings provided in each temporary stable. If you are allocated a permanent stable, it will have adequate shavings in it. Alternative bedding may not be brought in.
Hay will NOT be available to purchase onsite, please ensure you bring sufficient with you.
THERE WILL BE NO DEPOSIT FOR STABLES THIS YEAR: However, all temporary stables will need to be completely cleared before departure. All permanent stables will need mucking out, with residual clean bedding stacked against the back wall of the box. Any additional costs incurred for cleaning stables left dirty, will be passed to the individual competitor via their team manager.

Team information
TEAMS Teams to comprise 5 Boys or 5 Girls with the best four scores to count. No mixed teams. Teams are to be declared on the close of entry and in the order they wish members to proceed. Those not in a team will ride numerically.
Team Managers – If you wish to enter more than 24 competitors please contact Judy Hardcastle judyhardcastle@me.com and we will try to accommodate the extra competitors. Team competitions as per the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2025 Substitutions. After the closing date for entries, substitutions may only be made as per Tetrathlon Rulebook 2025. Please email your changes after the closing date to tetrathlon@pcuk.org.

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk.
For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter.
Horse and rider changes change class or cancel your entry before the closing date can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account and editing your entry under the ‘edit entry ’ tab.

Prizes & Prize Giving
Prize Giving will take place on site at Moreton Morrell College, all members and families are to attend. Placings and special awards will be presented.
Entry Conditions
- To be run in accordance with Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2025
- Please ensure your members comply with 2025 eligibility, hat, spurs and body protector rules and a responsible adult is present.
- Queries may only be raised via the query papers by the DC or their appointee.
- Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
- A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Equine Influenza Vaccine Rule 2025
- Please ensure the sports specific rules are read and understood, as part of the commitment to safety guns will be checked and flagged at the event
- Dogs must be kept on the lead at all times as the college has livestock around the site. Please ensure you clear up after your dogs.
- Should a Member have a medical condition please notify the Secretary and Organiser before the start of the competition so that the control teams and stewards can be briefed.
- Only team coaches are permitted at the poolside and outdoor shoes must be removed.
- NO photography in the swimming pool.
- Riding Phase will run in numerical order.
- The Run will take place in groups, these will be ranked.
- The cross country and running courses will be available for inspection on foot only. No unauthorised vehicles on the course at any time.
- Bicycles are not permitted on the riding route.
- Shooting – All guns must be kept locked in your car or horsebox at all times and may not be carried outside the firing point by anyone under 18 years of age in a public place. Guns must be kept in their cases/boxes until the Firing Point Steward gives the order to unbox them and must be boxed again before the competitor leaves the firing point.
- Competitors, Team Managers, Parents and Spectators must obey the instructions of the Officials and Stewards at all times.
- Competitors must not be left unsupervised at the campsite overnight, there must be a parent or Regional Manager on site with competitors at all times.
- All-terrain vehicles/motor cycles are not permitted at this event, except those used by appointed Officials.
- When on the course, spectators/competitors must look out for horses approaching especially from behind them, listen to whistles and instructions from Stewards and must take special care in the warm up and collecting ring areas.
Health & Safety
Vet & Farrier Services: A veterinary surgeon will be on call from Friday to Sunday inclusive; they will be on site during the riding phase. If Veterinary Assistance is required any treatment must be paid for at the time. There will be a farrier on call over the weekend. Please make payment direct to the farrier. Vet and farrier to be contacted through the Stable Managers only. Please remember to bring you horse’s PASSPORT and UP TO DATE VACCINATION CERTIFICATES with you as these will be checked by the Stable Manager before your horse can be given their stable.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
