RING 1 JUMPING CLASSES
- All times stated are approximate, no class will start before the stated time. No pony or horse may be ridden twice in the same class.
- Combinations jumping in Ring 1 may not jump in Ring 5 (except Clear Round and Horse & Hound).

RING 5 MINI JUMPING CLASSES & CLEAR ROUND

PONIES MAY JUMP WITH DIFFERENT RIDERS IN BOTH ASSISTED AND UNASSISTED SECTIONS OF EACH CLASS, BUT THE UNASSISTED RIDER MUST JUMP BEFORE THE ASSISTED.
IF YOU ARE SHARING A PONY IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET THIS RULE TO AVOID ELIMINATION.

Horse Show Conditions Of Entry
- No liability shall fall on the Organisers, Landowners, Judges, or Officials in respect of any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused and all competitors are deemed to be liable to indemnify the said persons in respect of any such loss, damage or injury.
- Stallions and colts two years and over must be bitted at all times and not shown by anyone under 16 years old.
- Every effort will be made to keep to the schedule, but we reserve the right to alter the order and competition, composition of classes or to cancel them.
- Any competitor may be warned or disqualified for improper or excess use of whips or other actions where the Judges or Officials consider warrants such a penalty. Spurs are not permitted in any class.
- Everyone mounted, whether a competitor or not, must wear protective headgear conforming to PAS 015 & BSI Kitemark, VG1 01.040, and BSI Kitemark, ASTM F 1163 & SEI mark, SNELL E2016 & official SNELL label and number, AS/NZS 3838 & SAI global mark. Such headgear must be worn properly secured.
- All horses being ridden on the Showground must be four years or older.
- The ruling of the judges is final. All complaints must be put in writing and handed to the secretary with a deposit of £20 within 15 minutes of the incident, returnable if the objection is upheld.
- Interest may be refused without reason being given. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any rider or horse/pony found to be entered in the class they are not entitled to enter.
- A refund less administration fee will be issued for withdrawn entries on production of a medical/veterinary certificate or at the Secretary’s discretion.
- Change of horse or rider must be notified to the Secretary 15 minutes before the start of the class or the entry will become void.
- Any rider galloping on the field will be asked to leave.
- It is the responsibility of competitors to know the rules – our Stewards and Officials are there to help.
- In the unlikely event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded, but the Organisers reserve the right to make a deduction to help cover their unrecoverable costs.
- Cups and trophies remain the property of the show. Winners must sign (signatory must be over 18 years) for them agreeing to the safe custody and ensure their return for the next year’s show no later than 1st August 2025.
- It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that any child who may have been injured is taken to the first aider on the Showground.
- No pony or horse may be ridden twice in the same class, except in the clear round jumping, Handy Pony AND SECTIONS A/B IN CLASSES 29/30 – SEE RING 5 FOR DETAILS.
- Numbers to be worn in all classes. Collect your rider number from the Secretary tent on arrival.
