Trophies: The cups named on the schedule are to be awarded to the winner of the relevant
class. Due to the monetary and sentimental value of the cups (all have been donated by
show supporters), a deposit will be required from winners who are not Puckeridge
Hunt/Puckeridge Hunt Pony Club/Puckeridge
Western Pony Club members. Previously, cups were only awarded to members. We trust that
competitors will understand the need for a deposit. Deposits will be returned when the
trophy is returned for the next show.
Rosettes: 1st- 6th in all classes – Rosettes to all
lead rein entries in classes 13 . 1ST In fancy dress and a rosette for all other competitors in this class.

❖Team relay 6. 3 Clear rounds, to be jumped with either two or three competitors with a baton handover between each round!! Team relay will take place after the Working Hunter classes in Ring 1. Height 80cm
Knocked poles and refusals will incur time faults. New jump for joy jumps will be used for our working hunter classes. Many thanks to The Puckeridge Hunt Pony Club.

Clear round jumping starting at 9:30
Starting at 20cm and going up to 40cm (this ring is designed to encourage novices).
Enter @ ringside (£4). Classes will run concurrently.
• Fun Mini Jumping- classes to be run throughout the day (ask at gate).
• Mini Minute Jumping (£4) – Jump as many fences as you can in one minute. If you knock a fence down you cannot count that fence.
• Pairs (£8) – Go with a friend. One fence to be jumped together and marked. Scored on combination of time. Jumping faults and dressing fence.
• Horse and hound (£4)- jump the course on the pint and then on foot with your dog. Fastest round with least fault wins.
• Hobby horse jumping competition (£4): Bring your hobby horse along and jump a course of jumps. No pony required.

Supreme Championship Why not stay and watch the supreme championship!? This will take place in ring 4 after the last qualifying class has take place. The supreme championships is for the champions and reserves from the following: – Mini showing championship. – Ridden showing championship. – Working hunter championship. The morris cup. Rosettes to supreme champion and reserve and sash to supreme.

Conditions of Entry
1. The Judge’s decision is final.
2. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times. Hard hats which comply with current safety regulations to be worn by any person riding on the show ground at all times.
3. No entry money will be refunded.
4. Any competitor may be warned or disqualified for improper or excessive use of whips, spurs etc. or other action which the judges or officials consider warrants such penalty.
5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and alter the schedule if necessary.
6. All complaints must be in writing and handed to the secretary with a deposit of £15 within 15 minutes of the incident, returnable if the objection is upheld.
7. It is a condition of entry to the Brent Pelham Horse Show for all riders, horse owners and spectators that they do so at their own risk and neither the organisers
of any event to which these rules apply nor any agent, employee or any representative of these bodies
action on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, or injury to riders, horses, ponies, dogs,
spectators, property, cars, horse boxes, trailers, vehicles, their contents and accessories whatsoever,
so far as permitted by law, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way.
8. Health & Safety. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health
and safety of everyone present. For those measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring
and must obey the instructions of the organisers, their officials and stewards.
9. The age of the rider is their age at the date of the show. Horses will have had up to date vaccinations including equine flu
