Clear round Class. One round not against the clock
A course of small cross poles for children on or off the lead rein
All double clears will be awarded a special rosette and award
The Mini Minimus Class Height approx 30cm in the first round
The Minimus Class Height approx 40cm in the first round
The Starter Stakes Height approx 50cm in the first round
A team of two riders to jump a short course each. The first will jump a very small course and the second rider will jump a moderately bigger courses. Pairs will be drawn on the day. Both rounds will be against the clock
The Starter Showjumper Height approx 60cm in the first round
The Novice ShowJumper Height approx 70cm in the first round
The Intermediate Show Jumper Height approx 80cm in the first round
The Open Showjumper Height approx 90cm in the first round

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

With the exception of the clear round, class two (the Tiny Tots Class) and the mini major pairs, all the classes will run in the same format. All riders will jump a first round, not against the clock. All clears from the first round will go forward to a jump off. This will be over a shorter course against the clock. The winner shall be the rider with the fastest time and the least faults. This show will run under pony club rules:
knockdown = 4 faults
First disobedience = 4 faults
Second disobedience = 8 faults
Third disobedience = elimination
Fall of horse or rider = elimination
Error of course = elimination
Rosettes will be awarded 1st to 6th with special prizes to be awarded to the top three placings in each class.
All clear rounds in the clear round class will be awarded a rosettes
All double clears in the class two, The Tiny Tots Class, will be awarded a special rosette and award
Entry conditions
It is a requirement of entry that all riders must wear a protective hat when mounted that meets the standards required by Pony Club. For ease of identifying the hat it should have a visible pink hat tag. Hat tagging is available by prior notice, please contact the event organiser.
Objections must be logged up to 15 minutes after the finish of any class and accompanied by a £10 deposit, which will be refunded if the objections is sustained.
The organisers and the committee reserve the right to alter or cancel any class at their discretion and should they be required to, to request that a competitor to remove any animal which is thought to be unfit to compete for any reason whatsoever. Their decision is final.
All horses/ponies must be four years old or over and may not enter the same class more than once.
Owners entering their horses or ponies do so at their own risk. The Rockwood Harriers Branch of the Pony Club, Offices and Members accept no liability of any kind in respect of any damage, accident, injury or illness to horses/ponies, owners, riders, grooms or any other person or property whatsoever.
The organisers of this competition have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone present must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents to obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
