In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

‘Have a Go’ Clear Round XC

Rosettes and sweet treats to all those who take part. Clear Round will take place in a strung off arena and will be made up of 12-15 cross country obstacles. There is no water, ditches or steps. 

1st Class will start at 9.30am and classes will follow on.

Refund and withdrawal policies are the same as classes 3-9 however only £6.00 admin fee will be retained instead of £12.

Hats conforming to current standards PAS015 2011/BSEN1284 should be worn at all times when mounted. The current standards can be found on the BETA website.

Cross Country Attire including Body Protectors must be worn.

‘Have a go’ Ring Anyone assisting a competitor must wear appropriate footwear.

Clear Round SJ

Clear round SJ will take place in a strung off arena and will be made of approx. 10-12 jumps. To include a double.

Pre entries on Horse-events or Cash accepted on the gate. However, pre-entries will take priority and ‘on the day’ entries will be allowed time permitting. Payment on the day by Cash or Card

Clear round will start at 40cm and increase in height 10cm every hour to max 100cm

Start time will be 9.30am.

Jumps will be moved to fresh ground throughout the day if required.

Hats and Appropriate footwear must be worn, Body protectors are recommended

Number Bibs Must be provided by the competitor. Numbers can be printed via Horse-Events website.

Refunds-Entries refunded before the closing date will be refunded in full. After the closing date, refunds minus an admin fee (£12) will only be given if entries can be replaced. Waitlists will be held.

Changes of Entry- If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab

If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you.

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basic

Event Cancellation

Should the event be cancelled for any reason all entries will be refunded minus a £12 cancellation fee per entry. Please note booking fees are non-refundable.

Times

Available via horse-events.co.uk on Friday 11^th april after 1800

Courses available to walk from 1400 the day before.

Rules

• Each horse/pony may enter no more than 2 Hunter Trial classes
• All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dogs.
• Hats conforming to current standards PAS015 2011/BSEN1284 must be worn at all times when mounted.
• Body Protectors must be worn for XC Classes. They are recommended for SJ. Please note from January 2024 All body protectors must have the BETA 2018 Label.
• Any horse/pony considered unsound or unsafe by a judge or organiser will be excluded from competition without refund of entry fee.
• Horses/Ponies competing must not be younger than 4 Years Old

Health and Safety Policy

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents from occurring and must obey instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards connected with this event.

Save for death or personal liability caused by the negligence of the organiser(s) or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organiser(s) of any event to which these rules apply nor any agent, employee volunteer or representative of these bodies accepts liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or any other way whatsoever.

The organiser has the power to:

1. Cancel or divide any class or transfer competitors between sections of a class;
2. Alter the advertised times
3. Refuse any entry
