There will be a league points table held with small prizes awarded at the January 2025 competition.

Riders requiring reasonable adjustment dispensation, please see The Pony Club Reasonable Policy and how to apply, at least 2 weeks prior to the show.
Rules and Conditions of Entry SPURS: ALL spurs worn anywhere on the showground, by any competitor, must comply with Pony Club Guidelines on the Use of Spurs, August 2024. Please read guidelines. Members wishing to ride in spurs at this show must have achieved C+ Riding Test or The Spurs Achievement Badge. Misuse of spurs by any competitor will be recorded and reported and may result in disqualification from the competition.
Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors, or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority. Judges’ decision is final. Any objection must be handed to the Day Secretary in writing with a £30 deposit (which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld) within 15 minutes of the incident and BEFORE the end of that class.
PASSPORTS: DC/Centre Proprietors MUST confirm to the Organisers, that all their members’ ponies/horses’ passports have been checked and are compliant with Pony Cub Rules 2024.

Passports may be spot checked and if found not to be compliant then all ponies/horses on the same transport will be unable to compete. Your vaccinations must be up to date with a vaccination in the last 12 months. Please check the Pony Club website for current rules.
If any horse/pony has been in contact with strangles or any other infectious disease, it should not attend this event.
1.All preliminary rounds will be run in accordance with the 2024/2025 Pony Club Dressage Rule Book and Barrier Health Spring Festival.
2. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organizers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other
3. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
4. The Surrey Union Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
5. The decision of the judge is final. Objections are to be made to the Chief Judge in writing, within half an hour of the disputed event, together with a deposit of £25 which will be refunded should the objection be upheld.

8. Whips of any length maybe carried.
9. The current Pony Club saddlery and dress rule applies.
10. All riders must wear a protective hat when mounted. Members of pony club, protective hat should comply with Pony Club hat rule 2024 and be tagged, see www.pcuk.org for hat rule 2024 and acceptable specifications. Hat tagging will be available on the day.
11. All competitors must wear gloves and hair tied back securely.
12. Numnahs, saddle cloths and pads – any solid colour is permitted. Contrast piping is permitted.
13. Horses/ ponies must not be tied up outside boxes / trailers and left unattended at any time.
14. Dogs, bicycles, roller blades or similar are not permitted on the show ground. Dogs must be confined to vehicles.
15. The organisers reserve the right to eliminate any competitor in breach of any rules or showing disrespectful behaviour to human or animal alike.
