In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

THE COMPETITION:
Riders will compete individually, Juniors in Classes 1 & 2, Seniors in Classes 3 & 4 – as per age on 1st January 2025 – class 1 compete all 5 races in drawn scoring heats, then class 2 will compete their 5 races in drawn scoring heats.
Rosettes given 1st to 6th place in each class.
Competitors from classes 1 & 2 will then be divided into mixed teams of 4 and assigned a trainer for instruction and supervision to compete in team games.
Seniors will compete in directly after the junior teams, with Class 3 followed by Class 4 and then mixed teams.
This year there will then be a Class 5 ran as individuals for those 15 and over.
This is a good competition for parents wanting to learn about Stewarding and the equipment for races.

Junior Games: Bending, 2 Mug, Ball and Cone, Old Sock (Junior), Two Flag
CLASS 1: 8 years and under Limited – 30 riders
CLASS 2: 9 and 10 years Limited – 30 riders
TEAMS FROM CLASSES 1 & 2 COMPETE IN MIXED TEAMS
Junior Team Games: Bending, 5 Mug, Bottle, Stepping Stones, Five Flag
Senior Games: 2 Mug, Old Sock (Senior), Ball and Cone, Stepping Stones and Two Flag
CLASS 3: 11 and 12 years Limited – 30 riders
CLASS 4: 13 and 14 years Limited – 30 riders
TEAMS FROM CLASSES 3 & 4 COMPETE IN MIXED TEAMS
Senior Team Games: 5 Mug, Bottle, Pyramid, Stepping Stones, Five Flag
Over 15 Games: 2 Mug, Old Sock (Senior), Ball and cone, Stepping Stones, Two Flag, Bottle, 3 mug, Pyramid, Quoit & cone and Four Flag
CLASS 5: 15 years and over Limited – 20 riders

NO REFUNDS: after closing date (Monday 19 February 2024) unless supported by a doctor’s letter or vet’s certificate.
*The Organisers may, at their discretion, alter the schedule/rules as required.
Save for death and personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of this event or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, not the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
