Fun ride details
The first horses will leave at 10 30am. £30 per adult £15 per under 16
It will take around 1 1/2 – 2 hours at a steady pace starting and finishing at Stone Hall. All levels welcome, open to everyone.
Parts of the Scurry course will be open to jump. All jumping is optional, Casual Dress
In any size group, unguided riding at your own pace. The route will be well marked with marshals to assist. Please may faster groups take time slots after 11 30am. The 10 30 -11 30 slots will be reserved for slower groups with children.
Terms and Conditions
1. There is no vet or medical cover at this event.
2. All riders participate at their own risk
3. Advance bookings ONLY and booked time slots must be adhered to
4. Strictly no dogs
5. Do not arrive any earlier than 45 minutes before your start time and leave promptly afterwards
6. Children 15 & under must be accompanied by a riding adult. If this is not a parent it must be an agreed, private arrangement between parents and chaperone rider.
7. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times when mounted
8. Any accident or damage must be reported
9. No toilet facilities or refreshments will be available
10. No water is available at the venue. Please ensure you bring any water needed.
11. Please take all rubbish and horse droppings home with you
12. No Refunds unless the event is cancelled by the organiser
All competitors and the owners of horses and ponies take part at their own risk.
Neither the organisers nor the landowner take responsibility for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators, cars or their contents and accessories or any other person or their property whatsoever or however caused, including the negligence of the organisers or landowners.
All riders MUST wear correctly fitting hats conforming to VG1, ASTM, PAS015, SEI, or SNELL E2001, carrying the BSI Kite Mark, which includes retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points and with no fixed peak. Must be worn and correctly fastened AT ALL TIMES when mounted.
Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times. No dogs on the hunt ride
