Full refund up until withdrawal date, after withdrawal date refund only if replaced from the wait list.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £2.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Open Individual & Team Jumping 40cm – 90cm (includes qualifiers for PC Regional Mini Champs at Bicton 2025)

ALL ENTRIES TO BE MADE online at www.horse-events.co.uk

Entry Fees:

£15.00 for all classes (£12.00 for S&WD PC Members)

First Aid Levy is included in entry fees.

Entries close Sat 21st December 2024 (or when class is full, whichever is earlier)

(From experience we anticipate a large entry so please book early to avoid disappointment)

For Team entries please enter all individuals online then Team Managers to email team declarations to the Secretary mary00harper@btopenworld.com no later than 12 noon on Monday 23rd December.

Edit your Booking :

If you would like to edit your horse or rider details change class or cancel your booking before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘EDIT ENTRY’ Tab.

For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/

Times and Number Templates

Times will be given for each competitor and must be strictly adhered to. These will be posted on Pony Club

Results https://www.ponyclubresults.co.uk/events/event.php?eventid=4860 by 6pm on Thursday 26

th

December. Times will also be emailed to Team Managers. (We will endeavour to get times published on

Christmas Eve but no promises!)

Competitors – please bring your own number bibs and print off your numbers to bring with you.

In the event that the competition has to be cancelled all entries will be refunded minus a £2 admin fee

General Guidelines For The Team Show Jumping

 

• Team Declarations from Team Managers to be sent to the Secretary by email by 12 noon on

Monday 23rd December. The show secretary will email you a list of your Branch entries after the

closing date to facilitate your task!

• Tack and Hat check at indoor warm up arena

• Teams will be of three or four riders, best three scores will count

• LEAD REIN RIDERS – must remain on the lead rein at all times whilst in the ring including entering

and leaving the ring and whilst warming up.

• ASSISTED RIDERS – One adult is allowed to assist in the ring whilst the competitor jumps his/her

round. PLEASE NOTE – No contact to be made with rider or pony whilst in the ring including entering

and leaving the ring.

• One competitor may ride no more than two horses/ponies in the same team – each horse/pony may

only compete once in a class

• All competitors to report to collecting ring 15 minutes before they are due to jump for tack

inspection

• Mini Champs guidance for those hoping to qualify. Any combination of horse/rider may not

compete at Mini Champs where the height is 30cm lower than that at which they have previously

competed. Riders who have competed at Regional Show Jumping or Eventing competitions are not

eligible for the Mini Championships. Those rules do NOT apply to competing at this event, but will

exclude you from qualification for Mini Champs.

• Classes 1-5: Top 2 eligible Pony Club teams and top 3 eligible Pony Club Individuals qualify for the

Regional Pony Club Mini Championships in each section.

• Results will be online at https://www.ponyclubresults.co.uk/events/event.php?eventid=4860 and a

list of Mini Champs qualifiers sent to DC’s.

Rules

Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions and it is a

condition of entry that these have been accepted by each competitor.

• All classes will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024. You can view the

Final_Web-v030624.pdf Please familiarise yourselves with current whip rules.

• Health & Safety Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health

and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all

reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of

the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

• Legal Liability Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or

anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club

nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or their tenant, accepts

any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators,

land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are

only accepted on this basis. The Judge’s decision is final and any objections must be accompanied by

£25 deposit which will be returned if upheld.

• Horse/Pony must be 4 years or over on day of show

• No rider/horse or pony combination can be ridden in more than 3 classes

• Tack and Hat check at warm up arena

• All dogs must be kept on a short lead.

• All droppings/hay/straw to be picked up and taken home.

• Rider’s age as at date of the competition

• Times will be issued for each competitor and must be strictly adhered to.

• Classes will be run as SINGLE PHASE and the second half will be timed

• The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without stating a reason and also to eliminate any

competitor who in their opinion places themselves or others in danger or fails to observe the rules.
