Entry information

Competitors from outside area 6 can enter but will not count towards the qualification places. Branches/Centres may enter a team of three or four members in the Arena Eventing Area qualifying competition.  The team members can compete at different levels or all at the same level or a mixture of the two.  A team must comprise of at least three members (i.e., one member may ride two horses) and the top three scores to count.  The winning Branch/Centre team at each Area competition will qualify for the Barrier Spring Festival on 24/25th February at Arena UK.  If any of the individual qualifiers are in a qualifying team their place will be passed down the line. Riders cannot compete in more than two classes per day. Horses/ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than two classes on the day. Competitors may qualify a maximum of two horses and/or ponies for any one Championship Class. Riders/horses/ponies and/or combination of horse and rider can qualify for more than one Championship Class. Qualification at Area Competitions will work on a ratio basis as below: Number of starters Number to qualify (plus any tying for these places 0 – 20 starters 2 qualify, 21 – 30 starters 3 qualify etc Team and individual rosettes to 6th place Entry fees £32 + Horse Events admin charge Refreshments available. First Aid in attendance

Entry Conditions

1. The event will be run under the Pony Club Barrier Spring Festival Rules for England & Wales and the Pony Club Rules 2024.  Both rule books should be studied and are available to download from www.pcuk.org. 2. This competition requires annual equine flu boosters. 3. Entry fees will only be refunded for withdrawals made before the closing date. 4. Entries will be limited and taken on a first come basis. In case of over subscription priority will be given to area 6 members. 5. If for any reason the competition is cancelled entry fees will be refunded less admin charges 6. Riders must dress as for XC (see PC Eventing Rule Book) 7. Hats must be PC tagged according to the 2024 PC hat standard. Tags available on the day. 8. Body protectors must be 2018 BETA level 3 (PC body protector standard 2024) 9. Clear up droppings from around where you park and in the warm up. Do not feed hay on the outside of trailers/boxes. Horses left unattended must be secured inside their transport. 10. A maximum of 6 competitors will be allowed in the warm up 11. NO DOGS

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
