We are relocating to Cheston Farm Equestrian due to the weather predicted and the ground conditions for setting up. All entries will be honoured and moved across and we will still be taking entries for a while- any issues please let us know…. but this enables us to run! 🤩

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

TO BE HELD AT CUTTERY FARM, EAST ALLINGTON, TOTNES, DEVON TQ9 7QD By kind permission of Mr John Bond Directions: From Totnes follow the A381 towards Kingsbridge. Pass through Harbertonford and Halwell. After Halwell village pass the garage and take the 5th turning on the left, signposted for Slapton. The site can be found a short distance along the road on the righthand side.
Terms and Conditions
Rules:
1. The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024 (including whip and
spurs rules), available on the Pony Club’s website or on Amazon.
2. Please bring water supplies.
3. The decisions of the committee and judges are final.
4. Riding hats and body protectors (optional) complying with Pony Club Rules 2024 for Show Jumping, and
footwear with heels, must be worn. Hats and body protectors will be checked. Entrants with non-compliant
equipment will not be able to compete. Number bibs are required for all classes. Tack checks will be carried out
prior to competing.
5. All horses/ponies to be at least 5 years old.
6. Non-Pony Club members are not covered by the Pony Club insurance policy. Every competitor must either be
a member of the Pony Club or have third party insurance and be able to show evidence of such insurance if
asked.
7. Any unsafe behaviour or behaviour deemed detrimental to a horse or pony’s welfare (e.g. excessive use of
the whip or spurs) may at the organisers’ discretion result in the competitor being asked to leave the course.
8. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
9. All horses must have up to date vaccination records in accordance with the Pony Club vaccination rule 2024.
Please bring horse passports: random checks may be carried out.
LEGAL LIABILITY Save for any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful to exclude liability, neither the
Organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or
representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or tenant of the site, accepts any liability for any accident, loss,
damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, and, vehicles or trailers, their contents and
accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of
contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Ponyclub championship qualifier specific rules:
1) Teams at the championships must include two members of the original 4 horse qualifying team.
2) A pony may only be ridden in 2 classes( at the champs) 3 classes at the qualifier branch show.
3) A combination may not compete in both lead rein/assisted and the open at the champs, but they may
for the qualifier branch show.
4) Any combination of horse and rider may not compete in a class that is 30cm smaller than they have
previously competed.
5) If you competed at the Pony Club Grassroots competition, you may not compete in the mini
championships.
6) The top branch team (not mixed teams) will qualify if less than 5 teams are entered. The top 2 if 5 or
more teams are entered.
7) The top 3 individuals whether they are in a team or not, will qualify at a branch competition.
8) The championships are at Bicton in August 2024
