Directions: From Totnes follow the A381 towards Kingsbridge. Pass through Harbertonford and Halwell. After Halwell village pass the Garage and take the 5th turning on the left Signposted for Slapton. The course entrance can be found a short distance along on the right-hand side.

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials & stewards.
Rules
- The hunter trial will be run in accordance with the current Pony Club Eventing Rules. Please go to http://www.pcuk.org/index.php/dcs_information/rule_books for details.
- The committee cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury to persons, horses or property.
- The decisions of the committee and judges are final.
- Riding hats and body protectors complying with current Pony Club Eventing Rules, and footwear with heels, must be worn. Hats and body protectors will be checked when numbers are collected and entrants with non-compliant equipment will not be able to compete. Number bibs are required for all classes and medical armbands are advised. Tack checks may be carried out prior to competing.
- Correct PC/competition dress to be worn at mounted/unmounted prize giving
- All horses/ponies to be at least 5 years old.
- Non-Pony Club members are not covered by the Pony Club insurance policy. Every competitor must either be a member of the Pony Club or have third party liability insurance and be able to show evidence of such insurance if asked.
- Any unsafe behaviour or behaviour deemed detrimental to a horse or pony’s welfare (e.g. excessive use of the whip or spurs) may at the organisers’ discretion result in the competitor being asked to leave the course.
- Objections must be lodged in writing with a £10 deposit, to the secretary within 10 minutes of the results being published.
- No entry fee will be refunded after the closing date for entries.
- Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Class 1: £10 per entry before or on closing date
Class 2: £15 per entry before or on closing date
Class 4: £26 per pair before or on closing date
All other classes: £20 per entry before or on closing date

By signing up to this event, I am agreeing I have read the conditions and agree to be bound by, observe them and to absolve South Pool Pony Club for liability for any injury or damage that I or any child for whom I am responsible may suffer on these premises. I accept that I may be asked to leave the cross-country course if the organisers consider that I have not complied with any of the conditions. By entering this event I hereby consent to the Club keeping my details on a computer and using them for the purposes registered under the Data Protection Act. Head Injury Disclaimer I also agree, by entering this event, that if the rider has, or does, sustain any head injury within 21 days of the date of the rally or event taking place, they they will withdraw from the rally or event.
