Competitions run under pony club rules
SHOW JUMPING
RING 9.30 START
Classes 1 and 2 are designed for very young or very novice riders. It is expected that they cannot canter a simple course of jumps unassisted. Led or assisted competitors will be judged separately in class 1 & 2
All jumping classes single phase on grass. All competitors to be unassisted class 3-7.
Horses/ponies only allowed to jump 2 classes
Rosettes 1st to 6th place
DRESSAGE:
All Tests may be commanded Both tests can be ridden in one class. Placings given on percentages.

Rules:
- All entries must be pre-booked on Horse Events website
- All competitors will be given a time to run, times will be available on Thursday 12th September.
- Competitors will be asked to warm up and cool down in the field.
- Jumping collecting arena only 8 people jumping at one time. Please give precedence to the next 8 competitors to enter the main arena.
- The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules apply at all Area Competitions and the Championships. Pink tagged hats. Body protectors if worn must be BETA 2018. Air jackets if worn, must be worn in combination with a body protector. All competitors must wear jodhpur / riding boots. Stirrups should be of the correct size to suit the rider’s boots
