Horse and rider combinations entering any classes 3 and 4 are not allowed to enter classes 1 or 2.

Rosettes to be awarded as one class, with Winter Dressage League Points awarded for each section/test.
Should entries allow, sections/tests will be run as individual classes:
• PC Novice Dressage Test 2020
• PC Intermediate Dressage Test 2024
• PC Open Dressage Test 2020

Refund minus an admin fee of £5.00 up until Withdrawal date. After the Withdrawal date only refund if replaced from the wait list.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

We also understand that some of you may be traveling a long way. If you need times together for traveling ease please do let us know and we will try to accommodate where we can.
Working in will be on an outdoor surface with no lunging. Tests will be ridden indoors. The number of riders allowed in the designated warm-up area at any one time may be limited. Competitors must report to the Tack Check Steward 15 minutes before the time allotted for their test
Running order is subject to change depending on entries.
Rules and Conditions of Entry
- No horse or pony may be ridden more than once per class and ponies and horses must be over 4 years old on the day of competition.
- These Rules and Conditions of Entry shall bind all persons entering the showground.
- The Judge’s decision is final.
- The Organisers reserve the right to alter any part of the Schedule or to refuse entries without stating the reasons.
- In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be returned, less an administration fee of £5.00 per competitor, to offset costs.
- Please read all rules above on The Pony Club website: The Pony Club. A copy of the Rule Book will be held with the Secretary on the day of the competition.
- Any objections in writing to be accompanied by a deposit of £10. Judges’ decision is final.
- Withdrawals – £5.00 admin fee per class will be deducted from any refunds made before the closing date. No refunds will be made after the closing date unless a medical or veterinary certificate is produced within one week of the event, subject to notification of withdrawal prior to the event. (less £5.00 admin fee).
- Competitors are requested not to muck out horse boxes on the showground and to pick up all droppings from the car park.
- No dogs are allowed under any circumstances.
- No numbers will be issued at the venue. Please use bridle or numnah numbers.
- Hats: Securely fastened hard hats must be worn at all times by everyone when mounted. Hats should be tagged and must conform to Pony Club Rules 2025. All hats to be checked when collecting numbers. Dark blue, black or brown hats only.
- Spurs, if worn, must comply with Pony Club 2025 Rules. PC Spurs hat tags will be checked.
- Body Protectors (if worn) must comply with BETA 2018 Level 3 standards (blue and black label) being the only acceptable safety standard.
- We will be publishing competitors’ names and results on our websites. This will include competitors’ names, pony names, branches, and full results. If you wish your details to be excluded from these publications, please make a note of this in your entry.
- Reasonable Adjustment: The Pony Club is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, members can access all aspects of this competition. This includes any actions that help to reduce the effect of a disability or difficulty. Any requests for RA must be made no later than 31 January 2025 by emailing the organizer.
- Legal liability: save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or the Pony Club or any agent, employee or representative of their bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant accepts and liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to any horse, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents or accessories or any other person or properties whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club will not be covered by Pony Club insurance and should have their third party cover. South Berkshire Pony Club and the organisers ae not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
- Health and Safety: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents from occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials, and stewards.
