SANDRINGHAM PLEASURE HORSE RIDE
This event has been cancelled
It is with much regret that we have decided to cancel the Ride on Sunday 27th October.
The Sandringham Estate have just asked us to park outside the park which entails us finding a further 8 stewards because of the extra road crossings needed. At this late stage it has not been possible, to find the 8 extra volunteers needed, so in the interests of safety the ride is being cancelled .
Refunds will be automatic and you do not have to do anything. Some banks can take up to five days to show the refund.
The next ride will be in May 2025. I will post the day on Facebook when we are given it.

Terms and Conditions
Sandringham Pleasure Ride Conditions of Entry
• Please do not arrive before 0900 hrs
• No ponies or horses under the age of 4.
• Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Times to start from 0930 hrs and the last riders must leave the start no later than 1300 hrs. Choose your start time when entering.
• Please be considerate to other horses/ponies, riders and spectators at all times. No dogs allowed on the Pleasure Ride Course.
• All riders must report to the start on arrival and the finish when returning. If you retire early, please ensure you go through the finish to let them know.
• The route will be clearly marked with marshals at checkpoints and road crossings. If you get lost, please call the number provided at the start. Please stick to the route.
• Hard hats and suitable riding clothes/footwear must be worn at all times. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their tack is in good working order.
• The route for the carriages may be diverted away from the main route if conditions become wet and boggy.
• Parking will be in Sandringham Park. (Rain with not effect this free draining old parkland ). Please bring equipment to take away all your horse droppings.
• Dogs must be kept on leads in the parking area.
• First Aid Tent
• There will be toilet facilities on site.
• There will be refreshments available.
• All riders must have third party liability insurance.
• Neither the landowners or organisers, or anyone acting on their behalf accept responsibility for damage, loss, accident or injury to horses, riders, spectators and/or their property, however caused, whether by negligence or otherwise.
• By entering the ride, you agree to comply with these conditions of entry.
