In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

- The Judges’ decisions are final.
- Each team to consist of 3 or 4 members. Best 3 scores to count.
- Where possible we will combine individuals into mixed teams unless requested as individuals only in the entry special requests.
- Entries may be limited.
Entry Fee:
Triathlon £22 (Rufford PC Members £20) plus non-refundable booking fee £1.45
Biathlon £15 (Rufford PC Members £13) plus non-refundable booking fee £1.45
Prizes:
Individual rosette to 6th place in all class (subject to number of entries)
Prize for best run, swim and shoot in each class
Team rosettes to 3rd place in each class (subject to number of entries)
All beanies will receive a rosette

No person under the age of 8, on the day of the competition, may shoot. For the Beanies biathlon the above applies for their shoot and run phases (NO SWIM).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
2. Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
3.The event will be run under Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024 and it is the responsibility of the competitors to make sure that they understand and adhere to the rules.
4. Ages at 1st January 2024 and the competition is only open to Pony Club Branch and Centre members Team managers – please tick to confirm the member is a fully paid up Pony Club member on the day of the competition
5. The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class.
6. No refunds will be made after the closing date, refunds prior to closing date will be entry fee less 40p.
Shooting
Guns must be brought to tables in their boxes and opened only on command of the firing point steward. They must be boxed again before the competitor leaves the firing point. Guns may only be carried by those over 18 years or under the supervision of a person over 21 years.
When not in use, guns must be stored in a secure place (ie, in a vehicle, out of sight). Any breach of safety rules may result in disqualification. Please ensure competitors are aware that footwear must not cover the ankle (ie, no boots) and anyone shooting must wear protective or prescription glasses.

Gun shares and left/right handed shooter must be clearly identified on entry – no changes once times prepared.
Swimming
Please could team managers ensure all competitors are strong enough swimmers to complete at least one length of the pool (25m) confidently. Dive certificates are to be presented at the event to allow diving from blocks / poolside as applicable.
Please mark entry form if outside lane required, but be aware these may be limited.
