Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Refund all entries in full any time up until the date of the event.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.50 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Line Steward
If possible please supply ONE line steward and TWO arena party per team.
Ages:
Open – Riders over 11 at the beginning of the calendar year.
Seniors – Riders under 15 at the beginning of the calendar year.
Juniors/Junior Novices – Riders under 11 at the beginning of the calendar year.
Minis – Riders under 9 at the beginning of the calendar year.
Junior – this class is for those confidently riding off the lead rein and for those wishing to step up in an encouraging environment ready to compete at the next Area competition. Assistance may be give but will incur a loss of points.
Junior Novices – this class is for those riders that are not experienced or just off the lead rein. It will be very encouraging and a perfect place to step up from Minis. Assistance (but not leading) can be given.
Minis – can be on or off the lead rein. Please state which on the entry form and we’ll split the sections accordingly.
Timings
Provisional timetable for pairs & teams – Junior Novices, Minis, Juniors, Seniors. Junior Novices & Minis may run concurrently depending on entries.
We will put out times nearer the day, depending on entries. CLASSES TO BE RUN UNDER PONY CLUB MOUNTED GAMES RULE BOOK 2023/24 (BUT WITH A RELAXED SPIN).

Declaration Form for Pairs & Teams
To be handed in on competition day 30 minutes before start of class. These are available to download at https://pcuk.org/sports/mounted-games/competitions-and-events/area-competitions/
On Site
Hot and cold refreshments will be available all day. First Aid in attendance.
Parking will be tight – please follow the stewards’ directions (lorries only in top concrete car park/trailers in bottom field/sand school) and leave once your class has finished.
The Day’s format…. The idea of this competition is to get some competition experience, stress free. We are happy for you to assist the smaller children. We will be adding a few fun games in. So, if you have a Novice/safe pony you wish to get out for a bit of experience please do, and state on the entry form.
Rules and Conditions of Entry
No Dogs Allowed. All classes will be run under Pony Club Mounted Games rules 2023/24.
Hats must comply with the current Pony Club standards and be appropriately tagged.
No jewellery/hoodies to be worn.
No horse or pony shall be left unattended or tied to a trailer/horse box unless supervised by a responsible person.

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis
