No refunds will be given without either a Veterinary or a Doctor’s certificate, and in such instance £5 will be retained for administrative costs.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Class 1 show jackets or Pony Club sweatshirts to be worn. Cross country colours to be worn for both phases for Classes 2 to 6 Long hair to be tied up in a hairnet. No jewellery/stopwatches.
Class 1 is for 10 year old and under not competing in any other class. Classes 2 to 6 – Riders may not compete in more than 2 classes per day. Horses/ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than 2 classes on the day.
Cafe will be open for hot/cold refreshments. There are toilets on site.
No formal prize giving. Rosettes will be available as soon after the end of the class as possible.
All Arena Eventing classes are for teams and individuals. Everyone to enter as an individual and confirm up to 3 other riders for your team. Teams can be 3 or 4 riders – best 3 scores to count. Rosettes to 6th place.
Times will be emailed to all entries (to the person making the entry) and also shown on Horse Events website. You will need to provide your own number bib and print your number (on A4). Number bibs are available to buy on the day – new £10/second hand £5.
All horse need to be up to date with their annual booster following a primary course of two injections given between 21 and 60 days apart. A first booster injection given between 120 and 180 days after the second primary course injection.
1. All classes will be run under Pony Club rules for Show Jumping/Eventing 2024. Stop watches are not allowed. Horses need to be 5 years old and over.
2. Misuse of the whip or spurs or blatant bad language will incur immediate elimination.
3. Hats/Body Protectors-PC Rules 2024 apply. All hats must be correctly tagged. No jewellery to be worn.

5. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of the event have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
6. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Objections to be lodged at the Secretary’s tent in writing within 30 minutes with a deposit of £10 which will be refunded if that objection is proved to be justified.
7. In the event of cancellation a proportion of the entry fee per competitor will be retained.
8. No refunds will be given without either a Veterinary or a Doctor’s certificate, and in such instance £5 will be retained for administrative costs.
9. No horse or pony shall be left unattended or tied to a trailer or horse box unless supervised by a responsible person.
