In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

FORMAT & PENALTIES FOR ALL CLASSES • Competitors will jump a course of show jumps, followed by a course of cross country jumps • The course will consist of no more than 20 jumping efforts in total • The whole course will be timed; the winner in each class will be the competitor with the least faults overall closest to the optimum time The optimum time will be set at 325m per minute for the 60cm & 70cm classes, and 350m per minute for the 80cm & 90cm classes SJ Penalties Knockdown 4 penalties 1st refusal 4 penalties 2nd refusal 8 penalties 3rd refusal elimination Fall of horse or rider elimination XC Penalties Knockdown 4 penalties 1st refusal 5 penalties 2nd refusal at same fence 10 penalties 3rd refusal at same fence elimination 4th cumulative refusal in XC elimination Fall of horse or rider elimination ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR A CRASH HELMET TO THE CURRENT BE STANDARD, (PINK HAT TAG). Please bring your own number bib and print your numbers (2, front and back of bib) before you come to the competition

Rosettes given out on the day, or posted if SAE is left with organiser

Rules and Conditions of Entry.

1. The decision of the judges is final at all times and in all matters

2. Mounted inspection of the course at any time will result in elimination

3. Each class requires a minimum of 3 entries and the organisers reserve the right to cancel, amalgamate or change any class

4. The organisers reserve the right to limit or refuse entries

5. Outside assistance of any kind is not allowed except in catching loose horses and assisting

in re-mounting

8. No horse may compete more than once in any class and twice on the day

9. No stop watch or recording device is permitted (e.g. head/bridle camera)

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor The Quorn Hunt, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

Health, Safety and Welfare

The organiser of this Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.
