About this Event

To: All District Commissioners/Centre Proprietors, Area Representatives, Area Coordinators, Parents/Guardians, Officials, Volunteers, Pony Club Members and Non-Members.

The Pony Club are hosting this event for all interested parties that would like to find out more about the exciting sport of Pony Club Mounted Games, including a demonstration of the races for the current season, general rules, tack and dress and NEW rules for 2024. This will be an interactive friendly and encouraging event where we encourage all questions as we go along.

• Kingston Maurward Equestrian Centre, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 8PY

• Saturday 2nd March 2024

• 10.00am -1.00pm (Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get yourself a drink)

• Demonstration of all Area & Zone Races

• Thank you to the Demo Teams from Poole & District and Devon & Somerset Branches

• Q&A Session

• Please wrap up warm as we are in an indoor arena with no heating

• No pony needed – Come along on foot and find out more

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

The Pony Club Mounted Committee will be hosting this event for all interested parties that would like to find out more about the Sport. The aims of the day are:

  • Develop an understanding of the Mounted Games Rules
  • Awareness of Equipment for members and races
  •  See the new Area and Zone Competition races for the forthcoming season.
  • Provide a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunity for coaches and trainers, this is accredited for Mounted Games only.
  • Provide access to a Mounted Games Official who will be able to answer any questions or queries.
