Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes
Withdrawal Date: 21/05/2025
Refund minus an admin fee of £5.00 up until Withdrawal date.
Withdrawals after closing date will not be refunded.
Substitutions may be made in case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances and is certified by DC, their representative changes can be made as long as before the start of the class.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Competition Format
All classes will be run with two rounds.
The PC 70 and PC 80 second rounds will be run as single phase (no jump off) .
The PC90, PC100 & PC110 will jump two separate rounds per class, and will have a separate jump off for those on equal faults in qualifying places. If a combination qualifies for both individual & team jump off they will only need to jump once in the jump off.
The PC110 will run as two sections – Pony section (up to 148cm/14.2hh) and a Horse section.
Combinations (Horse and Rider) can compete at TWO adjacent heights as follows:
PC70/PC70+ and PC80 OR PC80 and PC90 OR PC90 and PC100 OR PC100 and PC110.
There are some restrictions as to eligibility for each height. Please check latest PC SJ rule book.

Qualifiers
Classes 3, 4 and 5 will be qualifiers for The JCB Pony Club Championships 2025 to be held at Offchurch Bury, Warwickshire 9th – 17th August 2025 (exact date for SJ to be confirmed).
Classes 1A and 1B and 2 will be qualifiers for the 2025 Pony Club Regional Championships at Rectory Farm, Duntisbourne Abbots on 23rd – 25th August 2025.
Qualifying Places.
Only for the PC70 / PC80 and PC110 classes, if a qualifying individual is also in a qualifying team, the individual qualification place passes down to the next eligible rider.
For PC90 and PC100 the team and individual Championship competitions are run separately, and on different days at the Championships. Combinations can qualify for both individual and team classes separately and so for this reason there is no passing down of individual qualification places if rider has a team qualification.
Eligibility: Please check full eligibility criteria noted the Pony Club SJ Rulebook 2025.
Prizes & Prize Giving
Prizegiving will be unmounted.
Please wear the correct Pony Club attire for the presentations.
Rosettes to 10th place Individuals and 6th place Teams.
Prizes awarded to 1st to 3rd place in individual and team competitions.
Entry Conditions
PASSPORTS: Horses/ponies will not be allowed to compete without their passport with valid flu vaccinations.
DCs/Centre Proprietors may be asked to confirm that your horse’s/pony’s flu vaccination record is correct and up to date. Passports will be spot checked for compliance.
A horse with a non‐compliant passport will NOT be allowed to compete (nor will any horse/pony it has travelled to the venue with on the day) and there will be no refund of entry.
Please allow time for passport checking and check the Pony Club website for current rules.
NUMBERS: Rider numbers MUST be printed out by each competitor.
If wearing a number bib please wear front and back.
If the number is to be put on the saddlecloth – please do A5 size and wear both sides.
If the number is to be worn on the back of the rider, then please print at least A5 size.
Numbers to be printed/written as large as possible in dark ink please.
Competitor numbers MUST always be visible whilst mounted.
WELFARE: Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors, or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority. We are all volunteers working to provide your children with a successful day so please be KIND.
TURN OUT: Competitors must be turned out correctly with hair tied back securely and any body piercings ideally removed. If they must be worn, those visible must be studded and covered with tape or plaster so they are secure.
HATS must be tagged with a Pink 2025 hat tag in order to compete.
SPURS / PADDED BATONS: All spurs worn anywhere on the showground, by any competitor, must comply with 2025 Pony Club Rules. Only those competitors with a yellow (spurs) hat tag are allowed to wear spurs. Only padded batons as specified in the PC Rules may be used anywhere on the showground.

- CHANGES / SUBSTITUTIONS: If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date, please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class, please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available, we will do this for you.
- Substitutions may be made in case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances and is certified by DC, their representative changes can be made as long as before the start of the class.
- For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge.

- TIMES/DRAWN ORDERS will be available after 6pm Wed 28th May. Please see Pony Club Results website. Competitors may be asked to jump up to 15 minutes before their given time – so please be ready!
- WARM-UP ARENA: A maximum of 8 ponies / horses will be allowed in the warm-up arena at one time. Only stewards or one person per combination over the age of 16 may alter the jumps in the warm-up arena.
- Absolutely no small children, buggies, dogs allowed in the in the warm-up arena.
- Judges’ decision is final. Any objection must be handed to the Day Secretary in writing with a £50 deposit (which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld) within 15 minutes of the incident and BEFORE the end of that class.
- Stallions are allowed with prior permission from the Organiser; any stallion ridden by a Pony Club member must have written permission from their DC/Centre Proprietor which must be sent Kate Mather at NCHPC prior to the show day. Stallions must wear stallion discs and ribbons.
- All horse/ponies must be at least 5 years old on day of competition.
- INSURANCE: please ensure that you have adequate/appropriate insurance for rider, horse, property & third party.
- PHOTOGRAPHS: by entering this competition you are agreeing to be photographed whilst competing; these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed please let the organisers know in advance of the competition.
- In the event of the competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be made via horse-events. All refunds will be subject to an administration fee.
- Participants attend at their own risk; neither the Organisers or Moreton Showground will be liable for any loss, damage or accident to horses, riders, property, or other persons.
- No horses/ponies may be left tied to the outside of trailers/lorries without supervision. Please clear any muck/rubbish and do not leave on the field/lorry park. Please park cars as directed – not by the lorries.
- DOGS: All dogs must be kept on a lead and under close control at all times and must be cleared up after.
- The show will be run under The Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025. Rules available on the Pony Club website.
