Withdrawal Date: 19/08/2024
No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given. Full refunds (minus the booking fee) will be given up to the withdrawal date of the competition, after the withdrawal date but before 24th August 2024 50% refund. After this date no refunds will be made without a Doctor’s or Vet’s certificate produced no later than 24hrs after the event. Refunds where due will be minus the booking fee.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 80% of the entry fee will be refunded minus the booking fee.

Rules
1. To be run under PC 2024 Eventing rules
2. All competitors must wear a BS riding hat to current specification whilst mounted
3. Body protectors are compulsory for all Pony Club Cross Country riding (including Arena Eventing). A body protector for these activities must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label).
4. The wearing of spurs is not permitted
5. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
6. No skipping out on the field anyone found doing so will incur a £10 fine.
7. The judges’ decision is final. Any objections / complaints must be lodged in writing to the secretary with a deposit of £20 (returnable if the objection / complaint is upheld) within 30 minutes of the class finishing.
8. Litter must be taken home
9. The organisers or any persons acting on their behalf do not accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury to horses, ponies, riders, spectators or property whatsoever in connection with or arising from this event.

PHOTOGRAPHIC RIGHTS: Competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club.
Prizes in kind, individual rosettes to 6th place and team rosettes to 6th place.
If not part of a branch team, then riders will be put into mixed teams by the organisers (teams of 4)
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
