Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes
Refunds are NOT AVAILABLE after booking. However, you can transfer your entry to a friend right up to the day of the event to get your own refund. I will help pass on details of sellers/buyers where I can in order to help you get your own refund. Any entries transferred are subject to the same terms and conditions as the person who originally booked.
This policy has been brought in purely due to the huge amount of extra work the old policy was producing and I do not have the capacity to continue.
If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event, please login to Horse Events and edit your booking under “EDIT ENTRY ” tab.
In the very unlikely circumstances that we have to postpone the event then your entry will automatically be transferred to the new date. However, if you are unable to make the new event, you will have 48 hours to contact horse-events as per the instructions at the time of postponement to receive a refund minus horse-events charges (40p) and our £2 admin fee.
In the very unlikely circumstances that we cancel the event then a full refund will be given less a £5 admin fee.
After the closing date please contact the event Secretary to make any changes
Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Secretary

Entry information
Approx 8-10 miles across mostly private land around the gorgeous Leicestershire countryside with lots of OPTIONAL jumps with something to suit everyone. There are plenty of long grass gallops but will be as few quiet roads/tracks as possible – simply as we need these to get you between all the grass and jumps! If you never ridden around this area of Leicestershire, I can’t describe how amazing the views are – you can see for simply miles & miles! Go at whatever pace you choose – walk, trot or canter, on your own or with your friends. Book early to avoid disappointment as we are expecting another full fun ride in our popular series from Leicestershire & Rutland Fun Rides.
The route will be marked, with stewards around the course and both a map and full parking instructions will be issued via email 36 hours or so before the event once entries close.
Please remember you are riding on private land at the invitation of the landowners and as ever, take great care around any wildlife, wildflowers and crops/livestock. Please also ensure you clear up any droppings in the parking area.
Please add who you wish to ride with in the “special requests” box so that I can group you together correctly. If you are aged 15 or over you must buy an adult ticket NO exceptions this year
Photographer booked and refreshments including burgers and hot drinks available at the end (please bring CASH).
All proceeds from this event go to the Air Ambulance & the Cottesmore.
Additional Details
• Times starting from first horses leaving at 9.00am, last horses depart at 12.30pm
• Booking closes Friday 30 August 2024 or earlier if the event is FULL.
• There are NO REFUNDS after entry, however you are welcome to sell on your tickets to get your own refund and I will help pass on details of sellers/buyers where I can.
• Cost: £25 Adults, Under 15s £15 – children must be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons

Refreshments available at the end of the ride including burger/hot drinks. Photographer booked. Please note there is no water available onsite so bring your own and no toilet facilities.
Event Directions & additonal details
The final details will be confirmed nearer the time but there is likely to be a one way parking system as the roads in the vicinity are narrow, however once you get to parking it is a large grass field so plenty of space assuming we park in the same place as last year. The nearest postcode is LE7 9DG near Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire with easy access from the A47
Please also ensure you clear up any droppings in the parking area.
Terms and Conditions
All those participating does so at their own risk, even if your entry has been transferred to someone else then you must make this very clear. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, damage, or theft for any reason whatsoever. There will be no medical or veterinary facilities on site other than those that can be summoned in an emergency.
Riders must wear a hard hat that complies with current British Safety Standards when mounted, have appropriate rider insurance and Body Protectors are recommended. Under 15s MUST be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons.
We do not have a dress code, dress for conditions and comfort.
