In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £5.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

ROSETTES 1st – 6th (Individuals) and 1st placed team. Prize Giving after each class on the day (dismounted). Expect prize giving to take place approx. 30 minutes after the end of each class.
ENTRIES
● Entries will close on Thursday, 3rd April. There will be no refunds after the close of entries without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate.
● Late entries will be accommodated if possible.
● Approximate start times will be available on Tuesday 8th April 2025 by 6pm on PC Results.
● Classes will be run as single phase with the second half of the course to be timed. Pairs classes to be timed from start of first rider to finish of second rider.
● Course Walks will take place prior to the start and at regular intervals throughout the day.
● No entries can be made after the start of the relevant class. All classes are open to adults and children.
● Combinations cannot take part in more than two full classes and 1 pairs class per day. Horses cannot take part more than once in each class or in more than three classes on the day.
● In the event of cancellation, £5 of the entry fee will be retained to defray costs. No refunds after the closing date.
● After the relevant closing date, no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing to the secretary. No substitutions once the class starts.
● A booking fee will be applied to all entries by Horse Events.
● Classes where declared are open to teams of 3 or 4 members (best 3 scores count). Team members will also be judged as individuals. Where possible, the whole team will ride one after the other. No competitor may ride more than one horse or pony in each team. No horse/pony may jump in more than three classes.
Team Manager Access is available to view branch entries and assign teams online, if you have not used this before please request team manager access on the booking page.
Entrants: if you want to be part of a team, please choose team when you enter and leave team name blank.
● TEAM MANAGERS Please submit your team names/members online through your Horse Events account by 1200 noon on 7th April. Individual entrants will be put into teams wherever possible. If you have any queries/can’t access a Horse Events account to make up teams, please contact Helen Keen, oldberkshire@pcuk.org.

Please remember to bring your own Number Bib or Bridle Number. Riders must wear visible numbers.

● The Judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made in writing within 10 minutes of the results being published with a deposit of £20, refunded if objection is upheld.
● All Classes will run in accordance with The Pony Club Show Jumping 2025 Rule Book PUBLIC SAFETY AND EVENT LIABILITY When not being ridden all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. No exercising in the car/lorry park, or among spectators.
● Combinations cannot take part in more than two full classes and 1 pairs class per day. Horses cannot take part more than once in each class or in more than three classes on the day.
● No lunging in the lorry park.
● No horses/ponies to be tied to trailers or lorries.
● NO DOGS ALLOWED
● All horses and ponies must be fully vaccinated against equine flu within the past 12 months, according to the Pony Club Vaccination rules. Spot checks may be made.
● The Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, restrict entries and make alterations when necessary

● Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other
personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
● The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
● All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Old Berkshire Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
