Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Entry information

All entries (teams and individuals) to be made online at the Horse Events website. https://www.horse-events.co.uk

Entries close on Sunday 28th July 2023 for all competitions.

All entry fees are exclusive of any booking / administration fees charged by Horse Events

Stabling & Additional add ons

Overnight stabling will be available on site. There is a maximum of 114 stable units available, on a first come basis. Once sold out then off site stabling should be booked by the clubs or individuals.

Stabling must be booked in advance online at the Horse Events website. https://www.horse-events.co.uk

Stables may be booked for individual nights – ie for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights – at a cost of £40.00 per stable per night.

Additional nights – ie Wednesday and/or Sunday nights – may be available by prior arrangement at a cost of £25.00 per additional night.

Straw is included in the stabling price but if you wish to use shavings for bedding, bales can be pre purchased at a cost of £14.00 per bale when you book stables.

Qualifiers

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 Incorporating:

* Amateur ONLY classes – Riders must meet eligibility criteria to ensure a true amateur class

* Open class for young horses – open to all levels of rider with horse 4, 5 or 6 years in their 1st or 2nd year of eventing.

* Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships – the Prestigious Schools Eventing series to find the Schools eventing champions.

Championships 21st -22nd September  – Dauntsey Park, Wiltshire. 80, 90 & 100cm

Entry Conditions

The competitions will be run in accordance with the relevant Pony Club Sport Rules 2024 for the particular competition in force as at the date of the competition.

District Commissioners / Centre Proprietors are responsible for ensuring the eligibility of each horse and rider competing from their branch / centre in respect of the relevant competition in which they are participating.

Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor while onsite at Auchlishie.

No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in each class.

A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the

Health and Safety Rule Book 2024 and any subsequent amendments in force as at the date of the event.

No commanders are allowed in respect of both Dressage and Eventing competitions.

Competitors must provide their own number and number bib. The number should preferably be printed but in all cases must be clearly visible. Numbers can be printed from the Pony Club Results website.

Queries may only be raised via the Secretary / Organiser by the DC or their appointee. Protests / objections will be managed as per the relevent Sport Rule Book 2024 provisions.

Competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events, to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.

After the closing date no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing by the relevant District Commissioner to the event organiser.

No substitutions can be made after the competition has started.

Health & Safety

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.

Legal Liability

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
