Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 18/09/2024


No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Times : Available on horse events after 20:00hrs Friday 20th Sept  2024.

NUMBERS/BIBS: Please bring your own number bib.

Collect your numbers from the catering tent.  

No start fee.

 

Prizes & Prize Giving

PRIZES: Classes 1 and 2 — Rosettes for all finishers.

Classes 3 to 6    — Prizes in kind 1st to 3rd

Rules

HATS/BACK Must comply with the current British Riding Club

PROTECTORS: standard.  Hats must be worn with the chin strap fastened at all times whilst mounted.

Long hair must be tied up. 

Hat cams and stop watches are not allowed.

Competition Format

Please read the below:-

Classes 3, 4, and 5 will be timed from start to finish and judged at the shown speeds. Therefore it might not be the fastest time that wins.

Penalty points will be added if not achieved.

No outside assistance or stop watches allowed.

(Please note we have made modest increases to the entry fees only to cover the increased cost of medical cover on the day)

 

Event Directions & additonal details

Directions: From the North there is a weight restriction for HGV’s. You MUST continue on the A1M and approach from the Ferrybridge services roundabout travelling north along A162.

Disclaimer: Health and Safety the organisers of this event have taken precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers, Officials and Stewards.  Whilst mounted the appropriate protective gear must be worn.

It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that they have walked the course and entered the correct class to suit the ability of them and their horse.

 

All competitors are advised that they must have Personal and Third Party Liability Insurance.  I confirm that I have read and understood the above and have the necessary insurance in place.
