No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Prizes & Prize Giving
Rosettes: Individuals: 1st – 6th in each Class, Teams: 1st – 6th in Classes 1-7
Class 8 may be for Individuals only depending on entry numbers
There will also be ‘prizes in kind’ for 1st – 3rd Individuals and Teams
Photographic Rights
PHOTOGRAPHS: by entering this competition you are agreeing to be photographed whilst competing; these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed, please tell the photographer on entering the arena before you jump.
No unauthorised photographers allowed – please check with the secretary on the day.
Times & Number template
Times will be available on the on the Pony Club Results website on the evening of Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Competitors must print their own numbers which may be used in a number bib or attached to the saddlecloth; numbers should be printed as large as possible.

Rules and Conditions of Entry
Your entry is deemed to include acceptance of these rules
1. The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2025.
2. The Judge’s decision is final.
3. Protests and Objections – please see Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2025
4. All hats must have the current 2023 (pink) Pony Club tag.
5. Turnout for ALL riders and horses should be as in the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2025.
6. If worn, Body Protectors must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label) in accordance with Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2025.
7. ‘Grass Reins’ may only be worn in Classes 1 & 2 and must be compliant with the ‘diagrams’ in the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2025.
8. SPURS : Only competitors with a yellow hat tag are allowed to wear spurs. ALL spurs worn anywhere on the showground, must comply with Pony Club rules.
9. Padded Batons: Only ‘padded batons’ as specified in the PC Rules may be used anywhere on the showground.
10. Misuse of spurs/padded batons by any competitor will be recorded and reported and may result in disqualification from the competition.
11. Riders may not use their padded baton before the start of the course and may be eliminated for doing so at the Judge’s discretion.
12. Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors, or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority.
13. No horse under 5 years of age is eligible to compete.
14. Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor at the venue.
15. Horse & Rider Combination may enter a maximum of two classes of adjacent heights.
16. Ponies may be ridden a maximum of twice in Classes 1,2 & 3 by two different riders, to allow for siblings that share a pony.
17. Horses & ponies must not be left unattended in the horsebox area, please do not feed hay to your horse or pony outside of your trailer or horsebox and ensure that ALL droppings are picked up before you leave.
18. INSURANCE: please ensure that you have adequate/appropriate insurance for rider, horse, property and third party.
Passports will be spot checked for compliance. A horse with a non-compliant passport
will NOT be allowed to compete and there will be no refund of entry. Please allow time for passport checking.

Rider and Public Safety
1. When not competing all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. They must not be exercised in the car/lorry park, or among spectators.
2. Horses/ponies tied to trailers or lorries must not be left unattended.
3. Numbers will be restricted in the ‘warm up’ arena.
4. All dogs MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. The owners of any loose dogs will be fined £20 per dog per incident with proceeds donated to the Air Ambulance. Please clean up after your dog.
Health & Safety
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Legal Liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
