Entry Fees: £18 per class medical cover is included in entry fee.
Classes 1, 2b, 3b, 4b & 5b are unaffiliated. All other classes are for Pony Club members only.
Class 1 which will be single phase with the second section timed. All other classes will be Table A7 – first round followed by a jump off for all clears.
All a & b classes will jump together so the course walk for both a & b classes will be at the start of each a class.
Note: There are no preliminary rounds. Qualifier classes are open to Pony Club Members only.
Dress Code Competitors must be suitably dressed in correct riding attire. Body Protectors are recommended for all jumping classes. Hats & Body Protectors must meet the Safety Standards as detailed in the rulebooks. Hat must be worn and chin straps correctly fastened at all times when mounted. There will be a tack inspection prior to competing.

PRIZES: Prizes to the winner of each class. Rosettes to 8th place for individuals. Team placings will be available at the end of the competition.
Refreshments – Hot & Cold Refreshments will be available on the day

Parking – Please park sensibly. Horses/ponies tied up to the trailer/lorries must not be left unattended. Please ensure the area around your trailer/lorry is left clean & tidy. All droppings must be removed.
Rules: The competition will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024/2025 and The Pony Club Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Show Jumping Rules 2024/2025 available from www.pcuk.org.
Any objections must be made in writing and handed to the show secretary within 15 minutes of the incident happening with a deposit of £10.00. In the event that the objection is sustained the deposit will be refunded. Use of the whip must be in accordance with the rules laid down in the current Pony Club Show Jumping Rules. Use of the whip will be monitored by the judge and excessive or inappropriate use may result in elimination. The new pony club spurs rule will apply to all members competing. Horses & ponies must be four years or over on the day of the show. No substitution of entries after the closing date.
Dogs must be on leads at all times and please clean up after them
Horses and ponies must be vaccinated as per the Pony Club rules 2024. Spot checks of passports may be done.
If competitors require a Pony Club Reasonable Adjustment for this event (available on the Pony Club website), please email it to the competition secretary by the closing date.
LEGAL LIABILITY: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Middleton Hunt (East Side) Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
