Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No refunds at any time.
Refunds are NOT AVAILABLE after booking. However, you can transfer your entry to a friend right up to the day of the event to get your own refund. I will help pass on details of sellers/buyers where I can in order to help you get your own refund. Any entries transferred are subject to the same terms and conditions as the person who originally booked.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

- Approximately 8 miles around the stunning Rutland countryside over mostly private land with loads of OPTIONAL jumps including hunt jumps, rails & hedges. A UNIQUE opportunity to enjoy some of the Cottesmore’s most wonderful country at your leisure. Jump sizes range from 70cm-110cm

- Times starting from first horses leaving at 9.00am, last horses depart at 2pm
- Booking closes Friday 4 October 2024 or earlier if the event is FULL, a £5 late entry charge will then apply
- There are NO REFUNDS after entry, however you are welcome to sell on your tickets to get your own refund
- Cost: £35 Adults, Under 16s £20 & Under 10s £10 – children must be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons
- Book early to avoid disappointment as this ride always fills quickly
- NO CASH ENTRIES ON THE DAY – all entries via horse-events for insurance purposes
Entry information
Approx 8 miles across mostly private land around the gorgeous Rutland & Leicestershire countryside with lots of OPTIONAL jumps ranging from 70cm-110cm including hunt jumps, rails & hedges. There are plenty of long grass gallops across open fields with just a couple of road crossings. If you never ridden around this area of Rutland/Leicestershire, I can’t describe how amazing the views are – you can see for simply miles & miles! Go at whatever pace you choose – walk, trot or canter, on your own or with your friends. Book early to avoid disappointment as we are expecting another full fun ride as we do every year.
The route will be marked, with stewards around the course and both a map and full parking instructions will be issued via email to all entrants 36 hours or so before the event once entries close.
Please remember you are riding on private land at the invitation of the landowners and as ever, take great care around any wildlife, wildflowers and crops/livestock. Please also ensure you clear up any droppings in the parking area.
Please add who you wish to ride with on your entry form so that I can group you together correctly.
If you are aged 10 or over you must buy an Under 16 ticket or if you are aged 16 or over an adult ticket NO exceptions this year
Photographer booked and refreshments including burgers and hot drinks available at the end (please bring CASH).
We do not have a dress code, dress for conditions and comfort.
The Cottesmore Scurry is being run the day before the Knossington ride at the same venue – 2 races over a different route than the Knossington ride but an incredible spectacle to watch & an after party is all planned.

Terms and Conditions
All those participating does so at their own risk, even if your entry has been transferred to someone else then you must make this very clear. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, damage, or theft for any reason whatsoever. There will be no medical or veterinary facilities on site other than those that can be summoned in an emergency.
Riders must wear a hard hat that complies with current British Safety Standards when mounted, have appropriate rider insurance and Body Protectors are recommended. Children (under 15s) must be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons.
Any entries transferred to another person are subject to the same terms and conditions as the person who originally booked.
