All riders must not have reached their 13th birthday by the day of the show. Assisted means that the competitor can receive any type of assistance, be it lead rein, verbal guidance and instruction or anything else as long as the judge considers that it is safe and appropriate.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes
Withdrawal Date: 24/02/2025
No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £3.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)
After the closing date if allowed please make any additional changes via your horse events account. If you unable to please contact Horse Events Direct info@horse-events.co.uk. There may be a fee associated with making changes to your entry.
Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. Teams can be made up from a mix of competitors in both Class 1A and Class 1B. All other teams to be made up from competitors in the same class

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All classes will be a series of show jumps followed by a series of arena eventing fences. The arena eventing section will be timed.

Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor:
- All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis
- All entries and changes must be done online, before the close of entries. If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you. For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
- The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.

- The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing to the Secretary with a deposit of £20 no later than 20 minutes after the end of the class. The deposit will only be returned if the objection is upheld.
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules or compromises their horse/ponies welfare.
- No refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date, full refunds to be given less any booking fees.
- All horses/ponies must be compliant with the current Pony Club minimum vaccinations requirements (https://pcuk.org/equine-welfare/)
- Horses or ponies must be 5 years or over on the day of the show and no stallions without written permission from the DC. No horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
- Horses and ponies must be ridden at a walk unless in a competition or warm-up area.
- Sparsholt has a NO DOGS policy. Please respect this, no dogs are allowed on site.
- All droppings and hay to be picked up and taken home.
- No horse/ponies are to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer.
- No horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
- Horses and ponies must be ridden at a walk unless in a competition or warm-up area.
- In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the Hursley PC website. Monies will be refunded less £3.00 per entry administration fee.
- All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Hursley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
- There will be a photographer at this event. It is the responsibility of any individual not wishing to be photographed to notify them directly.
- No horse/pony can compete more than once in each class. No horse/pony can compete in more than two classes. No rider can ride two ponies in the same team.
- All hats must be jockey skull caps with No fixed peak and must comply with current Pony Club Rule book.
- Body protectors are compulsory and must comply with current Pony Club regulations, riders must wear long sleeves due to the cross-country phase of the event.
- There will be a statutory tack check. You must provide your own number bib.
- No jewellery (including watches) allowed. No stopwatches to be worn by riders whilst competing. Long Hair should ideally be tied up and in a hair net. If not then it should be tied up with now long pony tails or similar.
- No horse/pony can compete more than once in each class, this includes Class 1A and 1B.
- No horse/pony can compete in more than two classes.
