No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)
After the closing date if allowed please make any additional changes via your horse events account. If you unable to please contact Horse Events Direct info@horse-events.co.uk. There may be a fee associated with making changes to your entry.

Entry information
Online Entries Only:https://www.horse-events.co.uk/ £18 per class plus Non refundable booking fee Classes 1a, 1b, 1c, 2 and 3 are qualifiers for the 2024 Pony Club Mini Champs held at Bicton Arena in August 2024 A pony may only be ridden in a maximum of 2 classes and only once in a class (i.e. they cannot compete in both Class 1b and Class 1c). Numbers to Qualify: The top Branch team (not mixed teams) if there are five or less teams entered, or the top two Branch teams (not mixed teams) if there are six or more teams entered, and the top three individuals whether or not they are in a qualifying team, at each branch team show jumping competition of the following levels: Lead Rein 40cm, Assisted 40cm, Unassisted 40cm, 50cm, and 60cm, will qualify for the Championships at Bicton Arena on 22-25th August 2024.

Team rosettes to 4th and Individual rosettes to 8th Place A cup will be awarded to highest placed Hursley Pony Club member in each class
Competition Format
CLEAR ROUND JUMPING TO RUN ALL DAY IN THE OUTDOOR ARENA £5 Per Round, with a rosette if clear. Pay card or cash on the day.
Team information
Teams of 3 or 4 riders & Individuals. At least 2 members of the original team must be included in a championship team entry. A pony may only be ridden in a maximum of 2 classes. If you are competing at the PC Regional Championships, then you are NOT allowed to enter the Mini Championships(Classes 1-3). Any combination of horse and rider may not compete where the height is 30cm lower than that at which they have previously competed

Terms and Conditions
Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor:
1. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.
2. All entries and changes must be done online, before the close of entries. If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you. For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
3. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
4. It is a condition of entry that each competitor shall indemnify the above mentioned against such matter aforesaid.
5. Dress & Saddlery Rules – as per the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024. A copy of the Pony Club Show Jumping 2024 rules will be with the Secretary.
6. The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing to the Secretary with a deposit of £20 no later than 20 minutes after the end of the class. The deposit will only be returned if the objection is upheld.
7. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules.
8. No refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date, full refunds to be given.
9. All horses/ponies must be compliant with the current Pony Club minimum vaccinations requirements (https://pcuk.org/search-the-pony-club/?q=vaccination+rule).
10. Horses or ponies must be 5 years or over on the day of the show and no stallions without written permission from the DC.
11. No horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
12. Horses and ponies must be ridden at a walk unless in a competition or warm-up area.
13 All droppings and hay to be picked up and taken home.
14. No horse/ponies are to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer.
15. In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the Hursley PC website. Monies will be refunded less £3.00 per entry administration fee.
16. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Hursley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
17. There will be a photographer at this event. It is the responsibility of any individual not wishing to be photographed to notify them directly.
18. No horse/pony can compete more than once in each class (i.e they cannot compete in Class 1B and 1C).
19: No horse/pony can compete in more than two classes. No rider can ride two ponies in the same team.
20. In the event of over subscription non-Pony Club members will be balloted.
21. Elimination occurring after the first fall of rider. In the event of a horse refusal, the horse will be eliminated on the third refusal.
22. All hats must be jockey skull caps with no fixed peak and must comply with current Pony Club Rule book.
23. There will be a statutory tack check. You must provide your own number bib.
24. No jewellery (including watches) allowed. No stopwatches to be worn by riders whilst competing. Long Hair must be tied back and in a hairnet.
