Please note medical cover is included in the cost of entry for this event.
Rider may be assisted in any reasonable and safe way (if the nature of the assistance is deemed unsuitable or dangerous it will be up to the organiser’s discretion to disqualify the competitor.)
Outside assistance is forbidden and will result in elimination of the competitor.
Combination of horse and rider not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any Hunter Trial at this height or above.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Classes 1, 2, 4 & 6: £30.00 per entry
Class 3 & 5 per pair: £35.00 per entry
No horse / pony may be ridden more than twice around the course or more than once in any class
BOGEY TIME IN OPERATION FOR ALL CLASSES
All competitors should print their own numbers and bring a number bib. Numbers and template will be available on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk
Rosettes to 8th place in all classes and to all competitors with clear rounds in Class 1
Cup will be awarded to highest placed Hursley PC member in classes 1A, 1B, 2, 4 & 6

Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor:
1. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.
2. All entries and changes must be done online, before the close of entries. If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you. For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
3. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
4. It is a condition of entry that each competitor shall indemnify the above mentioned against such matter aforesaid.
5. Dress & Saddlery Rules – as per the Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024. A copy of the Pony Club Eventing rules 2024 will be with the Secretary.
6. The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing to the Secretary with a deposit of £20 no later than 20 minutes after the end of the class. The deposit will only be returned if the objection is upheld.
7. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules.
8. No refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date, full refunds to be given.
9. All horses/ponies must be compliant with the current Pony Club minimum vaccinations requirements (https://pcuk.org/equine-welfare/)
10. Horses or ponies must be 5 years or over on the day of the show and no stallions without written permission from the DC.
11. No horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
12. Horses and ponies must be ridden at a walk unless in a competition or warm-up area.
13. All droppings and hay to be picked up and taken home.
14. No horse/ponies are to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer.
15. In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the Hursley PC website. Monies will be refunded less £3.00 per entry administration fee.
16. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Hursley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
17. There will be a photographer at this event. It is the responsibility of any individual not wishing to be photographed to notify them directly.
18. No horse/pony can compete more than once in each class.
19: No horse/pony can compete in more than two classes.
20. In the event of over subscription non-Pony Club members will be balloted.
21. Elimination occurring after the first fall of rider. In the event of a horse refusal, the horse will be eliminated on the third refusal.
22. All hats must be jockey skull caps with no fixed peak and must comply with the current Pony Club Rule book.
23. Body protectors to BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label) are compulsory.
24. There will be a statutory tack check. You must provide your own number bib.
25. No jewellery (including watches) allowed. No stopwatches to be worn by riders whilst competing. Long Hair must be tied back and in a hairnet.
On call veterinary service will be available. Charges will apply.
