Teams of three – there has to be a baton handover for each round eg person 1 hands to 2 etc person 4 passes back to 1 for the last round

To be judged on rider effectiveness, way of going and potential for the future, W/T only in go round. Canter optional in individual display. Rider and horse/pony age will be taken into consideration.

Walk / Trot only, no individual show, but small groups may be asked to go out to show walk and trot on both reins after the initial go round. Judged on the Judges’ preference and your story! Blemishes no problem, any tack allowed (provided its safe) no plaits, tidy rider turnout jacket and tie not necessary. Open to all ages of ride, all types of horse/pony, Rider sense of humour compulsory!

Current or potential for a performance animal. To be judged on manners, way of going, scope and athleticism. Horse or pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old or over. Ridden by an adult or child, but the rider must be suitable for the animal they ride.

Period costume /dress /traditional smart normal jacket turnout. To be judged on the tidy/clean /elegant turnout & overall picture. Side saddle or astride. Walk only. Lead Rein welcome horse or pony/ adult or junior

any recognised Heavy Horse Breed, Shire, Clydesdale, Percheron, Suffolk. Stallions to display a stallion disk.

riders over the age of 15 years on show day, each will be given a glass of fizz (fizzy water for juniors) then asked to ride a variety of movements walk/trot/ canter etc carrying the glass and trying to not drop the contents! Winner will be the one with the most left in the glass who can then drink it! Horses or ponies astride or side saddle

riders 10 years old or under, Lead reins to be attached to the noseband only. To be judged on the riding ability of the emergent rider and the suitability of the pony for its jockey.

walk and trot as a group, optional canter strides in individual show. Assistant may accompany the rider but no lead rein attached. Riders 12 years old or under.

Ride with one hand, round the world etc riders 13 years old or under on show day LR/FR welcome. Impress the judge with what you can do!

open to ponies 153cms and under, mare of gelding 4 years old or over, to be ridden by a child 16 years old or under on 1st January in the current year.

Riders 16 years old and under, any type of horse or pony. To jump a small fence during their individual display. To find the combination best suited for PC/RC activities

Designed for nervous and novice riders as well as those starting out competing. Assistance is allowed. Lead reins welcome Young riders are welcome, however, their safety and ability to compete is solely the parent/guardian’s responsibility.

Fun activities, open to all ages, assistance / LR allowed. Bending poles, ride through a channel, touch a target etc. No jumping , Lots of fun with Lisa £5 per round, unlimited rounds depending on time. Token prize to all clear rounds

• The aim of the competition is to jump the gate without knocking it down
• Jump the gate in turn, starting approx. 85cms and increases in height for each round.
• If the gate is knocked down, or the horse refuses, that combination is knocked out
• Winner is the combination who clears the gate at the highest
• Any suitable tack/boots/saddle
• Any fall of horse or rider is elimination
• Soft peak crash hats up to standard (tagged) compulsory. We can tag on the day in secretaries’ tent
• Horses 148cms and over, 6 years old or over
• Riders 16 years and over on show day
• Body protector strongly advised
• Hacking Jackets, Jumping jackets or Hunting kit to be worn
• Judge’s decision is final
• All competitors are deemed to be capable by virtue of entering this class that they are fit and competent to compete and that their horse is capable and fit enough to compete
