In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

GHPC League rules:

Classes 1-5 included in the league

Points will be awarded per rider/horse combination, per class. Points 2 point 6th place, 3points 5th place, 4points 4th place, 5 points 3rd place, 6 points 2nd place, 7 points 1st place. Everyone will get 1 point for attendance.

Horse rider combination can accrue points in different classes but points will be held in each class not as a whole.

Winners of the league classes will be awarded to the rider/horse combination with the most points in each class If you win more than one class, you will get the prize for the highest class, and the the second highest will take the prize in this case.

 

Rules and Conditions

To be run in accordance with Pony Club Dressage Rules

1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

4.British Dressage tests to be run under British Dressage Rules https://www.britishdressage.co.uk/competitions/competition-rules/

5. The event venue stipulates all horses/ponies entering the event site must comply with the BEF Vaccination guidelines (issued June 2019) – Passports must accompany all horses/ponies and spot checks will be undertaken:

1. First Primary injection followed within 21 to 92 days by Second Primary injection.

2. First Booster injection which follows within 150 to 215 days of the Second Primary Injection

3. Subsequent Boosters, which follow no less than 12 months after the previous booster.   As a minimum requirement horses/ponies must have had their primary vaccinations (1st & 2nd injections) and in addition following any vaccinations there must be clear 7 days before attending the event (i.e. no vaccinations after 15th December 2019)

6. For Pony Club section, Please ensure that the riding hat is tagged in line with the pony club rules (pink tags).

9. No dogs allowed out of vehicles.

10.OPEN TO NON PONY CLUB MEMBERS, but they must have adequate insurance cover.

Please remove all your litter and horse muck – this is grazing land.

11. The organisers’ reserve the right to cancel any class, amalgamate sections where there are insufficient entries or split classes if oversubscribed.

12.Pony club classes are run in the grove winter league , prizes for the winner of each pony club section at the end of the league .  Combinations must have attended a minimum of 3 dates to be eligible for the prizes.

If you win more than one class, the highest class gets the prize and the lowest will be handed down.
