The Mini Clear Round will now be in the Arena next to the Lorry/trailer park between 9am-12, a course of showjumps with a few rustic/XC fences. £10 per round for those entering on the day. Fences will start at 60cm but can be adjusted according to demand, within reason!

About this Event

A superb course over wonderful parkland turf in a beautiful setting in the Wiltshire countryside.

A wonderful cross country course over old parkland turf, 80cm and 90cm classes plus a mini cross course with clear round until 11am followed by classes of 40cm and 60cm. Our chosen charity this year is  FRIENDS OF NORTH DORSET WOMEN’S REFUGE

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 19/09/2024

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Entry information

Please enter online at www.horse-events.co.uk. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.

Entries close Thursday 19th September 2024

There will be no entries on the day.

Medical cover will be added to the entry fee at £5 per rider / horse combination on the main course.

 

Times & Number template

All competitors will be given a start time. Times will be published on the horse-events website on the evening of Friday 20th September.

Number bibs will NOT be provided and competitors must bring their own. There is a number template on the horse-events website.

Course Walking

Course walking will take place from 2.00 pm on Saturday 21st September 2024 and on the day of the event. Please keep dogs on short leads at all times.

The course will be open for schooling on Monday 23rd September. £15 per horse. Please book your slot by emailing clembolus@gmail.com and note that there will be no paramedics or vet on site on the schooling day.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Equestrian sports are dangerous. Neither the organisers of Fonthill Hunter Trials, nor any persons acting on their behalf, nor the landowner can accept any liability for loss, damage, accident or injury to any persons, horses or property.
  2. It is compulsory that all riders wear hats/helmets up to current British Standards at all times while mounted.
  3. It is highly recommended that all riders wear body protectors to the latest BETA standard. 
  4. Details of penalty faults and other rules will be displayed at the course on the day. If you are in any doubt please contact the organiser.
  5. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
