Due to unforeseen organisational issues we have had to cancel our Hunter/Eventer Trial on 15th. All entries will receive a refund.

Health & Safety – Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. 2. Legal Liability – Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 3. The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class and reserve the right to disqualify anyone for the misuse of whip or spurs, dangerous riding or any horse in poor or lame condition. and to refuse any entry for any reason and at their sole discretion. 4. Non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Fitzwilliam Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you. 5. Safety Rules – Failure to comply with safety rules will result in elimination 6. Photography- By entry to this competition competitors agree to being photographed by the Official Photographer 7. Hats of all competitors must conform to Pony Club regulations – details are in PC Eventing Rule book 2024 (pages 23-25) which can be downloaded at Rulebook-Eventing-2024-Final_Web-v050124.pdf (pcuk.org)- and must be tagged with the joint British Eventing, Riding Clubs and Pony Club PINK tag. Hats must be worn with chinstrap fastened at all times when mounted. Hat tagging at Secretary’s tent. 8. Body Protector NEW– All competitors must wear a body protector that meets the BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label) – details at page 27- Rulebook-Eventing-2024-Final_Web-v050124.pdf (pcuk.org) 9. Whips – must comply to Pony Club regulations – details at page 29 Rulebook-Eventing-2024-Final_Web-v050124.pdf (pcuk.org) 10. Dress: Cross country colours may be worn. Long sleeves compulsory. 11. No recording device is permitted (e.g Head or bridle camera). 12. Stop watches may be worn at PC 90 and PC 100 level (i.e Classes 7 – 9) 13. The Judges decisions are final. 14. No horse/pony may be ridden by more than one competitor in any one class. It is advised that horses/ponies should not go round course more than twice on the day.
